Well I have a Blue Mystic Plant about 4 ft tall now in a sortof little pot so i decided to transplant it and when i did this i started seeing little bown ants coming out from almost everywhere and it looks like they are carrying some white things in there mouth hopefully not more eggs but i just put in a 5gal bucket and just hope the plant survives...is there anything i could do to get deep in the 5 gallon soil to kill em ? ( almost at the bottom of the bucket to..I hope she lives)

You're in luck. A colony of ants have made a home in your pot. They will patrol your plant like it was their own.Other pests will look elswhere for a meal.

I think it can go both ways... ants are beneficial, but too much of a good thing can be bad. Containers are a far cry from growing in the earth. Have you been putting molasses in your water? That will attract them for sure. Conversely, you can water your plant with regular water, and then water the soil a foot from the pot with molasses water and see if you can't draw them out.

I've had ants steal weed seeds from me, but after they sprout, ants leave them alone.
