I just bought my first bike about 6 months ago.

2004 Honda Rebel 250.

Nothing big, nothing powerful. Its fun to ride until I get comfortable on bikes. I'll probably ride this through the summer before I upgrade.

Finally got warm here today and was able to get out. She can do 85...pushin. I dont live near a big city, so it works for me! :)

anyone ride atv/quads/four-wheelers/those fun things??? There's woods by me that are private property but almost everyone in the neighborhood is cool with people riding on the street to get to the woods and riding there. You can take trucks back there, it's pretty sweet. But the cops aren't cool sometimes and decide to go down there on quads and undercover and the f*ckers confiscate $4,000 quads just for riding on private property

Where I live there are an ungodly amount of Harleys....Reminds me of a day a while back...I've got my Girl on the back and I pull up to this beach bar (feeling all cool on my bike)....I step off my bike and before I can get my little "no fingered lookin cool gloves" off, I get surrounded by a group of 10 Custom Harleys....I go from feelin all cool in front of the beach bar to being a dork on a jap bike in like 2 seconds....LMAO:)

They pose as everyday people and usually hang around a few areas where people always stop. Then when the people are off their quads or going slowly they bust out the badges. People have gotten away from the cops for other things by running into the woods. Some kids stole a minivan a few years ago and crashed it into the front of the woods and ran away from the cops and never got caught. I bet there's some dead Indian or dead guy buried somewhere in those woods too :blsmoke:

To Johnny: With all due respect to Mr. Panhead, that is a load of bullsh*t. You are what your ride, and there are plenty of bad bikes. You experienced this yourself when you pulled into the cafe, and felt like a j*rkoff when the guys in the Harleys pulled in. What made matters worse was that you were with your gf. This is something that can scar you for life. It could have been you there with the biggest, baddest, fastest bike. And it is possible. Drive that fricking honda into the river like you know you should, buckle down, save, and get yourself the bike you know you should have. For me it is custom Harleys, for your it may be a custom Jap Superbike. They get the testosterone flowing and put hair on your b*lls, and you'll never feel quite the same. That may not be how it should be in this materialistic world, but it is.

Bah,ive been riding Harleys my whole life,i like them alot but i dont need them to be cool,i dont care if i was riding a shitwagon,if i pull up & some other bikers try & come off on me over what im riding then fuk em.

I pulled up & parked at a biker bar last year riding my Panhead & some cool lookin guy riding a Road King asked me if my bike was a Big Dog,he didnt even know what a Panhead was, some biker:roll:

Dont be fooled by this nonsense guy's,ride what you own & be happy with what you have, its about getting in the wind not looking cool.

a few other bikes we built this winter..
the first pic is a '94 bagger, we put a revtech 110" with a 6 speed and $4000 paint job, one of the sickest a fastest baggers in the north east..
then theres a softail with those sick pipes we put a 100" motor in that and new paint.
then theres a 103" bobber with the flames, we also did the paint and put a 6 speed and re-wired the entire bike.
then the last bike we built from frame up, painted the frame then i wired it and then we built the bobber we always wanted build.
peace
