bird of paradise

Went to my families and found this.

I was just given a bird of paradise plant this past weekend. I have no idea how to care for them but the flower is amazing. Any suggestions on plant care?

Ample light and the occasional watering is a good start.

If my Birds of Paradise attack you successfully I get to draw a card...
