Hey cool set up! Um if thats tin foil tear it down! It can create hot spots and damage your seedlings! You may want to look into purchasing mylar. Or a cheaper and more accessible option is using flat white paint. Both retain light very well. Either way for now get rid of the foil!

Some quick questions on your grow: How far are the lights above the plants? Is there a fan in there for ventilation? What temps you got going? I love growing with CFL's. Ill pop in every now and hen to see how things are doing!

Happy growing! :peace:

Blazed to show why tin foil is bad, I have a pic of a seedling burnt from a "hot spot" created by tin foil.

it is foil i planned on rippin it out cause my next grow is going to be in the closet just testin this box out. the lights i keep bout and 1"-1.5" from the plants and yes there is a fan in there. and the temps sat between 72 degrees and 78 degrees i try to keep the door cracked so it dont get to hot in there. and thanx for the insight.

Bro I hope you took down the foil man, because if you didnt listen to my advice what your looking at are hot spots, JUST like the pic I gave you. And no over or under watering do not cause discoloration, just deformities.

i was contemplating. but the new growths r fine and it started off as plochy spots. i did take down the foil but nows its just bare wood and i cant paint it cause the plants are usin the box. so im kinda at a stand still

Bro as silly as it sounds use anything reflective, flat white paper will do the trick, and is better than nothing. Good news is if you burned your plants they can recover from that easier then say a nute burn. Lets see what happens.

You could uhhh, take out the foil and line the inside with notebook\printer paper, just to get rid of the hotspots and make it at least a little reflective.

If my advice makes any difference in your decision making, I would highly suggest doing a closet grow as well. The benefits are endless. Sorry to hear the loss. If you make a new journal be sure to PM me.
