okay so I have a planned in up and coming Run. But before I do I figured I would formulate some soil.
Any comments are welcome. Also any tips you may have for me to include to balance my mix. If I'm missing anything please let me know.

BASE MEDIA.

2- cu ft. FFOF pH 6.8
2- cu ft. "SIMPLE PATH" brand, coco chip block (pre buffered) pH 6.5/ ec-0. (2 cu ft. Is of hydrated and expanded coco)

* note- When I hydrated the coco block, I used a mild solution made up of the following ingredients.
Advanced Nutrients:
sensi grow @ 1ml\L
B-52 @ 1ml/L
Bud Candy @1ml/L
Rhino skin @ 1ml/L
Ancient earth @ 1ml/L

Botanicare:
Aqua shield 150ml

Canna:
cannazyme @ 9ml/gallon brewed with cannabis juice/ pulp
* note- I fermented pulp with enzyme same as "applesauce test", and then brewed the liquid and remaining pulp. Fermented for 3 weeks before brew day.

I mixed the coco and FFOF together by hand, rubbing and blending all fibers and lumps.

AMENDMENTS:
10% perlite #3
5% "purple cow activated compost w/micro life" brand, compost
2% L.E.A.C.A.
2% par boiled rice hulls
1 cup- powdered dolomite
1 cup- granular Azomite
4 oz. My co
2 oz. Trichoderma
* again, I mixed these with the base very well.

I dug out the child size swimming pool and put it in a insulated room @ 75F and circulated. Put the amended mix in pool and wet it down. I use a tea mixturemixture that contains the following.

5 gallons of ro di h2o
1 cup of worm builder brand castings
2 tbsp of "General Organics" brand, BIO THRIVE GROW (vegan) 4-3-3
2 tbsp of "Alaska" brand, FISH EMULSION 5-1-1
5 tsp "General organic" brand, cal/ mag +
Brew for 48 hours. Ppm 520. pH 6.8
So now I water in the soil and I let it sit. I figure mabey 1 month with weekly wettings of the above tea

My fertilizer line up is General Organics complete line plus Advanced Nutrients mother earth tea, both veg/bloom.
Can anyone offer any criticism/suggestions?

The GO line is decent. I don't use it anymore, but the results were fairly good. The only things that I would tweak would be a) the mycorrhizae shouldn't be mixed in to your soil, but should instead be added directly to the root zone when you transplant. No harm in what you did, you're just kind of wasting it. It needs to be in direct contact with the roots. b) I would add more compost/worm castings if you have access to more. The FFOF will have some, but even taking that in to account you're still a little light on it.

Done and done. Thank you. I have 4 different fully mature compost.
Castings
purple cow activated
alpaca manure compost
equine/bovine manure compost

That alpaca manure will be nice. Alpaca and rabbits are gold when it comes to what we're doing.

Your total humus (compost/ewc) should be around 25%-35% of your base. You can figure around 25% of the FFOF is ewc, so that gives you 1/2cf. Your base looks to be around 4cf (less the ewc content of FFOF, plus the "10% perlite and 2% rice hulls"). So you're going to want to add apx 1.5cf of additional compost to the current base. Once you mix this well, give it the eyeball test and determine if it has enough aeration bits. If not add more rice hulls and/or perlite. Your base should be somewhere in the range of 33%-50% sphagum peat/coco coir, 25%-35% compost, and 25%-35% aeration.

Cool beans man, I'm gonna more compost and perlite. I think I may use just alpaca and castings out of the 4. More alpaca in the soil than castings, but the castings will always go into every tea brew and i plan on using the AN Mother Earth Tea in conjunction with my normal tea recipe.

Thanks for the percentages, that's the best response/post I could have received.

Good deal.

Man, you're 3/4's of the way to making your own soil. All you're missing is the dry amendments, and you could pretty much sail through a grow with just plain water and the occasional tea. Sounds like you've already got your GO line purchased, but when you've used that up check back in. Get you rockin a worm bin too. :-)

Good luck

BRO!!!! Im glad you liked it. REMEMBER, I still owe you cousin!

The soil is kinda cooking per say, I haven't added bulk NPK sources aside from castings/manure and vegan teas. I figure I will focus on awakening and maintaining the Microbial loop, increasing populations and diversity, while actively/continuously fortifying the soil. I figure this way I will cover all grounds and can assure myself that both fungi and bacteria are at work. Fungal has to be established before bloom phase because they wont awaken in high phosphorus soils.

lol- im up to my ears in soil. Yes, this mix is for the jets. But I also have 25 more gallons of a different mix already in 5 gallon buckets ready to go. Its gonna be for reg photo mommas. And also a 40 gallon mix I made a few months back, but I had to futhur amend it and it's super HOT! so Im waiting another few months. Spring is when it's getting used, and probably only the bottom 1/3 of pot just like subcools super soil.

I have been playing with the idea. I am a big juicer and the pulp I usually give to my dog or mix with enzyme and brew with tea. This would be an excellent food for the worms, plus its so finely ground that the worms would have a real easy time consuming it. Excellent tip man!!

hey folks, so today I wanted to share some results from a chem test I did earlier, before acting on the advise from stowandgrow.
This is the test kit I used. http://www.lusterleaf.com/nav/soil_test.html

I start ro/di with a pH of 7. The test ratio is 1:5, soil : H20. Soak for 30 min, then filter and test.
RESULTS:
pH- 6.5
N----3-4
P----2-3
K----3-4

Then I tested with Hanna Dist 5 meter, @ .5 conversion/ auto temp compensating
PPM-232
EC--.423

pH paper test---6.5-7.0

So now today I added
1 cup of food grade Gypsum--- used to displace sodium with calcium and provides sulfur.
1/4 cup of Epsom salt

I again bended very well and with a tank sprayer, wetted it down using:
1 gallon ro/di
1/4 tsp 50% humic/ 50% fulvic powder
1 tsp organic cal/mag +
pH-6.5
PPM-350 (200 of that is humates and fulvates)

I will re-test in 1 week.
