Blowing on plants

Is it noticably beneficial to blow on your plants? I spend a lot of time laying on the floor next to my grow box looking at them... and was wondering if it's worth it to just blow CO2 on them from my lungs for the 5 or so minutes I'm looking at them several times a day.

Good to know I'm not the only one who spends too much time just gawking at his babies. I can't explain it, I'm just compelled to go and examine the crazy thing constantly. I love the way it looks and smells...majestic really.:leaf:

Someone's gotta be able to answer the original question... I appreciate everyone's input but I'm still wondering.

Hi,

Generally, the ppm of CO2 in the air is around 300. Optimal PPM for CO2 in a sealed grow room is 1500. The amount of CO2 you exhale is minimal and unfortunately will not make much of a difference, especially if your grow room is not air-tight. If you want to increase CO2 PPM levels, you need to seal your room as much as possible to prevent air from being cycled with outside air. Then, you have a few options as to how to increase the CO2 levels (yeast, dry ice, CO2 tanks).

I noticed that you live in boulder. If you need any advice/help, there's an awesome grow store in gun barrel (63rd & lookout) with very knowledgeable staff. Hope this helps!

Love your signature... I was there that day... I've been to the hydro/organic store that is near 63rd and Arapahoe. I went for ths first time last week. Is that the one you're talking about?

Nope... I'm talking about Way to Grow, located at 6395 Gunpark Drive. It's a little North of Boulder at 63rd and Lookout Rd. Best ran hydroponic store I've ever been to.

I always take my favorite plant out in the morning to have my morning coffee and smoke with her. One night I put her on my night stand next to the bed and she slept with me. She is my dream girl =)

Someone's GOTTA have some insight into this.

lol dude, plants like co2 ... so yes it helps ... if you want to see how much
grow 10 or so of the same plants .... and blow on 5 of them and leave the other 5 by themselves ... in 3 months post your results !
now if you dont want to do this experiment ... now you know why there is no "insight"

their was a thread about 6 months or so back about how when you hold your breath for a min. you exhale a lot more co2 and ppl were experimenting with holding their breath and blowing into a ballon then puting the ol scotch tape on it and poking a hole but it seems you would be better off getting all aspects of your room perfect environment and it would benefit more than all these crazy diy co2 ideas or get a co2 generater or tank system and done
