just getting around to germing my blue chz from barneys, had 100% germination under 12hrs and looking good. have recently purchased Big Buddha Blue Cheese for future comparisons. Originally went with Barneys b/c I preferred the phenos, but do anyone have any info on their smoke potentcy (thc/cbd) and how well the BB bluchz yields.

I rolled the dice and got 1 fem BC seed from BB. The seed wasn't dark, but it was bulky and germ'd in one night. It's now a healthy, vigorous plant under fluoros. It is destined to be the mother of many clones. The clones will grow outdoor, and indoor under fluoros in dwc.

Good info guys! I bought a Barneys Farm BC Fem along with a Whiteberry fem just to try out fem seeds on my last order from Attitude. The Whiteberry is 2 weeks into flower and the Blue Cheese popped 3 weeks ago. She seems to be a bit slower than my other beans but I suspect she will take off anyday now. She looks healthy and full of life but she ain't growin as fast as I am used to. It maybe just her genetics.

I am looking forward to many clones of BC. It was an after thought but the more I am finding out, the more I am liking my impulse buy. I'll toss out a few pics once she gets big enough to view...:weed:

I noticed that kind of growth on the BC at about the same time, too. I thought it may have been because I moved the tiny girl into a new pot, and over watered slightly.

It's growing in jiffy 7 surrounded by vermiculite. It was my mistake giving this mix too much water, I treated it as if there were more draining components. After a couple days off the water the mix dried out a little, and the plant looks like its roots have taken hold.

I'm still debating what to grow this bitch in when it gets bigger. Its in a pint pot now, and I have multiple sizes up to 3 gal. I might end up caving and just buying a local mix of peat, sand, band, and perlite because its cheap, I know it, and it works well. Doing a 3 gal of verm and perl seems awkward/expensive.

I just hate buying more shit that I can't rinse and reuse.

Well, I finished my grow that included the Barneys farm BC, one mutated on me but still was good smoke, while the other OMG, was sooooooo Berry Smelling, it was intoxicating.......very, very, very STICKY and a good Yield. I also had Barneys Blue Berry which turned out Great, and presently trying their *White Berry, which is looking Swell as well. Barneys Farm has some Quality Seeds (Period)......I'm looking forward to starting Big Buddha's BC to compare :weed:

*edit: my bad that's paradise wb....but you get the point

personally, blue cheese has higher yields, thats why it was created as a strain. ITs a cross between blueberry and big budda cheese, blueberry yields high!!! But i feel that big budda cheese is a better smoke due to the taste.

i got barneys bc fem and i have to say i am happy with the grow so far . they were getting a strong smell b4 going into bloom and 2 wks into bloom now they smell gr8 and 2 out of 3 are surprisingly tall and 1 that i wld say is average height as they are from seed they are different . 1 smells fusty wen u rub it so it is more cheesy i wld say . 2 is fruity at 1st then then cheese comes through. so this 1 more balanced i think and 3 is really fruity . got 6-7 wks to go roughly . i will post bk about the smoke but if it is near what i have smoked b4 then i will be very happy

barneys all the way. That shit is chronic yo, lol. I"ve grown and tried both. The Barneys actually smelled like Blue Cheese. I don't really like BF, but damn did he do Blue Cheese right. It finishes fast and is dank. It is probably one of the best indica's I've had. TOtal knock down drag out, sleeper buzz. COuldn't smoke it during the day cause it would put me right back to bed, lol. Big Buddhas was good, but too blueberry for me. I want that chronic Blue Cheese smell. BUt be careful. When you grow it, it is ripe as hell. It smells up the block. YOu'll need every scent eliminator and filter known to man, lol. Did I mention 53 days flowering time? Big Buddhas went 9-10. Barney has the better strain.
