Blue Dream in Coco. 12x6, 2x1000 HPS

Ok so I've gotten a few runs under my belt about 7 runs hydroponically and about 7 soil runs. On this run I choose coco for a few reasons.. Anyways. I transplanted the girls in roughly 12-14 days ago before I went on vacation so thats why theres a little jump of size in the picture. I also threw in some bud porn from my last run. I'm still thinking about running with 10 on the GH nutes and 10 with the Sensi Bloom since this should have been my trial run, but I'm going to do the math soon and estimate if I can run with it or not. Then my next run after that will be a test between moab and one love. Which I use for my bloom booster, I'll most likely be doing that since theres a big price difference and I'd really like to know the difference in products.

Right now I'm veggin with the gas lamp technique which is 12hrs on 5.5hrs off 1hr on 5.5hrs off then repeat cycle.
Then I'm using my lucas formula, along with some cal mag and I'll be boosting in silica tomorrow, along with upping the strength.
I'll be cutting clones either tomorrow or the day after, I'm going to shoot for about 70 clones. I can easily do it, but I want strong one's not no baby bitches lol.

My old thread is still up if you want to see my first trial run with the ebb and grow hydroponic system on my signature. Which will now be my system for the spring/summer/fall runs. While I'll switch to coco for my colder months. I have my reasons lol.

The very last one is an og cut thats why I singled it out. I have a chem dawg cut behind that but it's been acting really funny lately..
Ohhh and I just added the other 1000 today, for the past 12-14 days its been just 1. I wanted to introduce one at a time since they were veggin under some t9's. not the cool vegging t5's lol

Looking nice.. What's your expected yield? One of these days when I get to a friendly mj state or they finally legalize it here I will have a setup that big.

Lol, gotta share this with the world my friend! My buddy pulled 5 oz per plant in coco(partically why I want to try it, while using about 1/4 less nutes overall due to less waterings). Hydroponically my average was 4.25 oz per plant with this strain. Which I also think I will be able to achive higher numbers as I go. As for this run I'd be satisfied with 3oz a piece. 4 would be better though. I never want to over shoot my estimation because at the end if I beat it or match it I feel alittle better inside lol. But I've seen trellis methods like this get super high numbers. With 20 plants I'd be super fuckin happy with 5 p's overall especially because I'm only using about a 5x5 space. I could easily stick 3x1000's across the top and cover 40-50 plants. In coco with a trellis method, I think this could pull some serious weight.

Ok, So I threw in the other thousand about 4 days ago and just starting upping the dosage today, I'll be cutting clones tomorrow probably about 100+. I would normally wait about 2 days or 3 days after watering to cut clones but due to certain interfearances I have to do things a little later then I should have. Anywho they are veggin under the gas lamp technique and damn, they are growin like a mother fucker, if I added my foiler spray to it, theres no tellin what this strain could do. I'll be spreading everything out and weaving it in the nets tomorrow as well. Alot of work to do..

Added some updates.. Picture of the chem dawg an og. I tried going down to a few shops yesterday to try to pick up some cuts, all of them either had spidermites, mold, pwdermildew, algea.. fuckin everything.. these shops need to step their game up.. It was funny because I walked by a set and pre ordered some, walked back an then had to tell the lady why I didn't want them anymore an just wasted 3 hours of driving for nothing.
Always gotta keep positive. Just waitin for my strain to come available.

So last night I went ahead and took 40 clones off the blue dreams. I could have easily taken around 80 or so, but I underestimated how many rapid rooters I had unfortunately. Anways, I also cut 8 OG clones too. Those are the ones I'm hoping to be dank as fuck, so I'm doing a trial run with it right now with the blue dream, I dont expect too much off the yield cause I stripped it for clones, except for the top 4-5 branches lol. I changed up my little veg chamber, kept about 7 chuch cuts, and threw the rest in the room with the little 3" nets, I don't care for the strain any more so I don't care to try to give it alot of room for roots and waste my time makin a batch of coco for em'. I also threw in the t5 set up and took out the t9's or whatever they are.. I was recommended to a place near by that has some master kush cuts and blue berry kush cuts too, so I'm gonna go check it out see how decent they are. I also just took off the trellis yesterday while I was cutting the clones, Idk if I should throw it back on or not. I'm kind of at debate because it's already bushy as fuck.
Also I wanted to explain the gas lamp technique a little. While it saves you alot of money during the veg due to the 13 hours of light instead of 18 or 24, during the flip you will see faster flowering and what not. But there will not be as much of a stretch. For this reason I will be getting my plants to about 24-30 inches before I flip them, I normally keep them right about 36-42 inches anyways so I'm hoping that at the end of the stretch it will roughly be the same size. I'm gonna up the nutes again tonight and feed them again, they've been taking up so much nutes/water I love it.. Hopefully I'll have my numbers by monday next week.

Ok, so I skipped out on the blue berry cut, and went with the master kush... Looks just like what I used to grow a few years ago when I first started.. I'm so fuckin excited for this cut right now! I hope it's as good as they claim it to be.. Also I just reserved 2 cuts of the reserva privada og #18 so hopefully they'll be ready in a week or 2. About to taste a sample of both buds... I love this hobby!

So I ended up going back n gettin the blue berry cut. Lol an the fresh cuts are lookin good especially the og. So my strains now are the church, blue dream, master Kush, dj shorts blue berry Kush, chem dawg and og. Then I ordered reserva privada og#18 cut so hopefully Ill have that within 2 weeks. Also my buddy's got Chem valley Kush, mars and Venus og, and Larry og. So we'll be swapping clones soon.
I just started using the foilsr spray on the plants to help tighten the node spacing before the flip. I'll probably use it a week into flower then stop. I measured the girls about an hour ago their on average 19 inches now. One hit 21 inches already thou.. Probably 2 or 3 days before the 48 hour darkness then the flip.

Right now 2 thousands it's covering the spread pretty good. But I think another thousand would be cool lol.

I'd post a picture of my clones right now, but on this batch of clones I accidently forgot to add some solution to the spray, so their alittle down. I'm pretty sure they'll survive. Once things are better I'll take a picture of those too.

rule of thumb is 1p per light in outstanding condition 1 1/2 per light so I think your going to need to up your lightage bro

Lol I'm thinkin so too. I averaged a qp on my last run per plant with the dream. So with the coco I'm hoping to get atleast 3-4 oz a piece. I think I'll probably end up throwin another thousand. Id rather over kill it just because the amount of plants I'm doin. But I think the 2 lights right now covers them really well.
