nvm on that i found a thread where you discussed this, lol sorry. But what was your method of mixture? did u mix both the products into one solution?
.
Krunkpot.... I mix the SPT seperate, because I use it on my watering only week (at mixed up - full strength) for most of the grow.
.
The first month, I use SPT at full strength every week. But still mix it seperate. That is just a personal preference - it will work just fine, mixed in with ferts, seaweed supplements...etc....
.
I water one week, then fertilize the next - in rotation. Some people, feed weakly - weekly. I prefer the rotation, it prevents Overwatering & Overfeeding - which are the two biggest problems most people have.
.
Instead of a quart of mixed up fert per week (the weakly - weekly mode), I use two quarts - every other week. That way, Mary spreads her roots better - looking for food & water. Plus the micro-beasties in SPT stay busy breaking down the NPK / minerals in the soil between feedings.
.
If you water & feed weakly / weekly - Mary only puts out shallow roots, since food / water are never far away. Make here reach out a bit, and later during flowering she will do much better - yield wise.
.
Hope this helps.....

Ohsogreen, thanks for all the help man, i appreciate it. As for watering, do u mean that you water your plants everyday for a week with the BMO/water mix and then water your plants the next week with just normal water, in that cycle?

.
Krunkpot.... I water only once (during my watering week), and feed only once (during my fertilizing week) - in rotation.
.
If you water frequently, like every few days or daily, you will seriously stunt root development. Mary only throws out roots as far as it takes to bring in food & water. Frequent shallow waterings and/or feedings cause a small rootball, less draught resistance and numerous other problems.
.
If it's super hot where you live, then sometimes watering every two or three days is necessary - to keep the plant alive. If it's not super hot, where you live, keep to once a week.
.
Hope this helps....

I slipped in SPT into the wifes water jug. About a week after she watered all the house plants, she said, "WOW! look at all the new growth"

Ha Ha I just laughed. She dont like using anything on the house plants except plain water.

This stuff is real and works great!!

Krunkpot.... Thanks If it's pretty hot, water every three days. If you notice your plants starting to go limp before three days, make it every two. One week, during one of these watering use the SPT (once). Then the next week, during one of your watering, use a weak fertilizer mix (once), since your plant is still very young.

Boneman.... Yes, it's fun to slip some in on someone. I have a neighbor, who gets on my nerves. He's always mowing his lawn, he drives over & over & over it, on an old, very loud (in need of a muffler) riding mower. He's a complete a*hole about his yard. He even sweeps it with a broom sometimes.
.
He has two potted flowers, one on each side of his entry way to the front door. I hit one of them with some SPT, a couple of weeks ago. It started growing like crazy. After a week, he removed it and bought another, trying to keep both the same height. So, I hit the other one with SPT, then it grew like crazy.
.
So, once again he has mismatched flowers. I'm waiting to see what he does next. SPT not just a great grow enhancer, it entertaining too......

Hello all.... I thought I'd kick Greensurfers thread back up to the top with an update.
.
BMO has a new Super Plant Tonic - Super Pack.... You get a bottle of SPT, and a pound of Worm Castings, a pound of Chicken Manure & a pound of High P Bat Guano.
.
They are starting them on auction (Ebay) for $ 7.95, plus shipping. Not a bad deal. Here is a link to their store if anyone is interested:

Hello...All... Over the weekend, I drove up to Stone County, where BMO products are made. & No I'm not pulling your leg. The wife & I, hit the Stone County Bean Festival in Mountain View, AR. The BMO crew had a small stand up, selling their products. The Bean Festival was a hoot... We enjoyed the whole thing, from little kids performing on stage to the World Champion Outhouse Races.... Yes, Outhouse Races....& it was some funny shit.....

So we actually met the BMO crew and they were definately an interesting bunch. I'd say a Hippy / Hillbilly Hybrid...... Real friendly, down to earth, peace loving types... Good People...
.
They made me some deals & I filled up the shopping bag, while the wife was busy looking at handmade bird houses. My Organic toolbox is now filled to capacity. Spring will not come fast enough for me, this go around.
.
I also smoked some buddage, Saturday night with a few locals, not the BMO crew. I'm now about 98 % sure, they are Mary friendly.... The stuff I smoked was a local strain, called Mutant X and it was some dam fine weed... So, fine - my wife had to drive us home - everything looked like one big cartoon - with pretty colors....a head high that was out of this world. It took me four hours to return to planet earth.....
.
I'm going to find a reason to go back - Fishing maybe, or to climb a mountain or something. Or maybe they have some other kind of festival coming up - I'll be looking into that. I need a reason to seek out some seeds or a cutting of this Mutant X. It's Chronic on a whole new level.
.
So, over the weekend - I met the crew, scored some deals & left planet earth for a few hours. I'd say it went well....
.
Keep it Real...Organic..... & sometimes - a encounter with a Mutant is a good thing...... LOL .....

Would anybody recommend using BMO's bloom formula in addition to a chemical nutrient? I'm looking for some more flavor and have debated just adding worm castings, but this might be the ticket if I can dilute it enough to keep the burn down.

.
UgmjFarmer.... If you're already using a bloom fert, I would not buy another one to add in. I'm all about keeping it real (simple) - fewer things added - makes diagnosing minor problems easier. Plus it prevents overfeeding, which just hurts Mary, reduces yield and makes for shitty tasting buds.

Bagelthief.... Yes, I can believe it. I like dealing with BMO, cause after you buy from them a couple of times. They will hook you up. The boxes get heavier and the prices keep getting better.
.
I sent them an email about that chicken manure, offered in their super deal. They tell me, in soil, it breaks down completely in under 60 days. It can also be made into a tea. They advise it will breakdown, in water, in two days or less. The numbers on it are real good too.
.
I'd buy one, but I bought allot of guano, SPT's...etc.., when we hit the Bean Festival last weekend. I'll have to wait awhile, or Mrs Ohsogreen might just dail me back in, on my spending habbits.... LOL...

hahaha! trust me Ohso, i know exactly what your talking about when you say mrs. ohsogreen might have to dial you back in...mrs. bagelthief hasnt seen the credit card bill yet, but i might be up for castration if i dont nab it out of the mailbox and shred it before she does!

i just noticed right after i read your post that they dont offer that chicken manure anywhere else do they? you have to buy the whole packaged deal to get it. i wonder why that is. anyways, the CM is awesome. its a perfect way to slowly introduce some N into my garden, which is exactly what i needed because the flower power doesnt have very much N in it at all, and i think since the plants are still growing they still use N. i plan on top dressing the soil with it.

hey OhSo, i remember you saying something about the BMO nutes (GIG & FP) being pretty good, but that you reccomend using Earth Juice, Metanaturals & Botanicare in conjunction with them. why is that? and what specific products do you suggest to supplement the BMO line?

thanks a lot man. Stay Green...

Hmmm...Bagelthief.....
.
Now, I do get stoned prior to dropping in to RIU sometimes, and I will while on RIU and definately after visting RIU... but I don't every remember saying use more that one fert line at a time.... No, that was not me talking....
.
I know I have recommended Earth Juice, Botanicare (but only the Pure Pro Blend Series) Metanaturals, and BMO - but never to be used together. I've just said, I like them, I've used them and I recommend them because they work well & are all Organic...
.
I'm all about keeping it simple. Chose one line & run with it.....or make your own....
.
P.S. - Have your credit card sent to a PO Box. It's insurance against mail box fishing from thieves & potientially angry wives... Mrs. Ohsogreen stays happier, not reading my statements.... LOL....

Bagelthief.... I was just thinking about that package deal you were talking about. They probably put the chicken poop in a package, cause you knew the other products and would be more likely to buy a package with them in it.
.
I bet they will sell the granulated chicken manure by itself later or with something else like a guano or a bottle of GIG - after people try it and start asking about it.
.
The fact that it is, slow released, would be good for the last 6 weeks of flowering. That way some N is steadily kicking in, to prevent premature yellowing of fan leaves (aka - sugar factories for buds).
.
You'll have to tell us how it performs.... if it is really low odor, etc....
.
OK, it's time to crash... I'll type at you later.....z.zzz...zzzzz..zzzzzz..zzzzzz
.
