I am finishing up my BMO grow. I have harvested and cured and smoked up some. :)

The best I ever had. Yeilds were lower, so dont ask, lol, do to other reasons I thiink. I had to pull the plants out of tents and change tents a day later so they were just sorta pushed around in all diffrenent lights, bags, and stuff.

But no one hermied! Also I am still letting one plant go. This plant was pulled with 10 percent amber trichs as I needed a bowl, lol.

The "clearness" hit me like a mack truck. It was the strongest tasties smoke I ever had. It was a cross of ww and nl so it was a good plant to begin with but it was, cleaner clearer than I thought. Good stuff.

I used the BMO line and augmented that with compost teas.

I made a mistake here by adding extra guano and by possible bubbling my teas.

In the future I would make a compost tea and add a cup of this to my mixed nutes once a few weeks. I suffered some burn. By just bubbling the whole mix.

I am off to water only grows for fun for a while but the bmo worked fine.

here is one nug I am looking for the other pics, they look good really the pics are older and due to the light disturbances the colas never really came all the way together. One plant is starting too fully form at week nine tho.

I fig by week ten, because of a healthy soil web, the massively disturbed plants will be ok, Almost finsihed, and non hermied. An eight to ten week strain.

I am in super soil now and feeding only water and no burn and the best vigor and growth of any plant attempt yet.

this was my first time in soil, and my second grow.
I thought they were done so I flushed and started to chop one, then found my trich scope and saw only one plant had 10 pervent brown trichs and the other was clear and milky so I went back to feeding that one and letting the other one go for a half and half.

fun, learned a lot. less is more. the smoke is killer, hours later still stoned too :) cant wait too finsih and get the next round in there to get it right.

edit: I am letting the leaves die in that pic. Flushing anyway, even tho it is organic. I do not think that is needed now, wait until the last week then clearex is more then good for organics I think.

After Reading a bunch of post here and on other forums, I decided to pick up the whole BMO line of fert. I just had a bunch questions before I start.
I'm growing Outdoor 2 plants,1 indica and 1 sativa. 7wks old & for the past 3 wks in Danny Danko's Magic Organic Mix
3 parts Canadian sphagnum peat mix, coco coir or pro-mix
1 part large, chunky perlite
1 part worm castings
1/2 cup greensand
1/2 cup dolomite lime
1/3 cup Peruvian seabird guano
1/4 cup Epsom salts
Hand mixed and in 5 Gal buckets with holes
The plants love the new soil but I haven't had funds to buy any extra nuts. for feeding I've just been using tap water by filtering & distilling it and I used super thrive to help with the transplant (not bad) . Both are pretty healthy minus a lil pest problem(thanks neem oil). So here starts the laundry list of questions.

Would the lack of extra feeding from fert. teas make my soil kinda bare since its been 3 weeks of flushing basicly.

I've been using clean milk jugs to measure and store water on the back pourch. I figure the heat helps purify a lil extra is this ok, and if I premix my BMO and leave them out for a while(3days max) would this be helpful or harmful?

Along those same lines, how important is it to bubble your teas and do you know of any simple and cheap ways to do so.

I was looking at your feeding chart and I was wondering, on the weeks that have both GIG and FP do i need to water with "clean" water inbetween the 2 teas. In south east texas I can water 3 times a week with this heat.(right?)

Also on the feeding chart for the FH you just say mist once. Simple enough, but I way over think things. I just mist her down on her under neaths of her leaves right?, not use a whole quart each foliar feeding?

Whats a good ratio for mixing the FH and FP for that xtra N boost you spoke of, and is that good to use through out flowering or just at the later stages?

Considering the age of my plants 7 weeks should I hit them with a large dose like the chart says or since my photo period is still 15/9 do I just go easy on it untill I'm closer to 12/12 ?

Last 2 questions I swear. Whats a good molases to use in my final flush, and whats the latest date I could plant seeds here in the Gulf Coast area.

Sorry to be such a bother on my very first post but I'm in a bit of a situation. I have to serve a warrant, so to keep the pigs from eating my crops, I must go to the pig pen.
My mom is able to do the daily work but I'm trying to teach her everything I know on the fly. I had to try to think of everything that could happen and gave her links to tutorials and all that. I figure I've got the best mom in the world for doing what shes doing for mekiss-ass, I should ask for advice from hands down the best advisor I've ever seen on any forum. Ohsokiss-ass

Hopefully this helps my girls out while im working for the man, & I can come home to the best organics Ive ever had. My own:blsmoke:

ohso, when do you stop using the SPT? do you go into flowering using it??
.
GHOPZZ.... I stop using it the second half of flowering..... by then your soil or medium should have a good sized population of micro-beasties doing their thing. No need to waste it, I'm frugal..... waste not.......
.
Hope this helps.....

Currently im not growing but am in the process of starting another grow. Im probably going to get the lowrider 2 strain and ill being growing in a DWC hydro system. I have some left over foxfarm nutes and when these run out i want to switch to 100% organic stuff. What sites or threads are there that can help me figure out what to get to make my grow organic?

MyGTO2007.... I agree, the N is low in the FP, but with a reason. It helps the plant transistion from veg to flowering. The nice thing about this line of ferts, is that it's pretty easy to adjust. A little more of this or a little less of that.
.
When I mix it up during flowering, I use the 1/2 oz of FP to a gallon of unchlorinated water, then either add 1/4 oz of GIG, or use 1 oz of the FH to bring up the N level. Either one will work.
.
I've also had good results recently doing a one time power shot of FP at week 4 of flowering. 2 oz's of FP to one gallon of water (but only once). Then back to the regular mixing strength. I use FP until the end of week 6 of flowering. I then let my plants coast to the finish line.
.
I use unsulphured molasses from week 3 of veg, until week 6 of flowering, then retire it .
.
The last two weeks of flowering it's plain water only. I let my plants strip all the N from the oldest (lower) fan leaves and fade to finish. That way, I know there is no excess NPK build up in plant tissues (buds, smaller leaves...etc...).
.
This makes for the smoothest, cleanest tasting smoke. You give up some weight, like maybe a gram or two, but so what. & letting the fan leaves yellow and drop off should not concern a person anyway.... I never smoke them, nor do they really have any value for hash, let them fade & drop (but only during the last two weeks)...
.
Hope this helps.....

Please recommend how/where to get good quality basic soil mix to work good with the BMO line, and what should I stay away from? I like the idea of using soil, compost, worm castings and ~25% perlite. I'd like to understood what constitutes a quality grow mix.

Q2
How about the same question for seedling/sprout potting mix?

My partner who is funding our grow buys anything she can at the local home furnishings/hardware store. She's never grown mj and never studied growing it either. I've studied it for a while and have done two small grows. However if I can't clearly explain the situation, she'll just buy and force the (organic) miracle grow mix on me.

yeah here is a schedule

What sort of soil mix is recommended for use with this feeding regimen? This is my first organic grow, and first soil grow. Done a deep water culture and some clones w/coco coir, that's about it.

So far we going with some local generic soil and amendments. We bought the following bags, but I still need to pick up a bag of perlite and 1/2 bag of worm castings.
-potting soil
-organic gardening soil
-organic peat
-composted cow manure

So far I'd probably set aside half of the potting soil bag for the next soil mix session and mix it all together. So that's
1 part (1/2)potting soil and (1/2)worm castings
1 part organic potting soil
1 part organic peat
1 part composted cow manure
1 part perlite

The organic gardening soil is not miracle grow with time released fertilizers. What else do I need? Meal, dol lime, sand, compost?

I feel like I'm playing chances with this grow because of not getting known good soil, but the price is so low just like our personal finances (lol), so I think we need to give it a try (avg $4/40lb bag). I may prepare a seedling mix with mostly peat and some perlite.

Do you think this might work good with the BMO ferts?

I have the full line of BMO now and want to start a large res DWC (30 gallons) for 6 plants. Since the ppms for BMO are difficult to read I feel like Ill be adding blindly. Any suggestions on the nute schedule for this large DWC?
