blue spectrum ?

my plant closed down. being a maintenance electrician i grabbed a mess of these lights and ballests during plant tear down. the halides i'm clear on. but the hps bulbs i'm not sure of. do these have enough blue spectrum. sylvania lumalux 400W lu400 eco socket s51 bulbs.

HPS can be used for the entire grow but generally speaking, people use MH for vegging and HPS for flowering. The blue in the MH is supposed to keep the plants short and bushy and the red in the HPS makes for denser buds. ;-)
