Blueberry gum leaves coming in by the three's

MY BBG SPROUTED WITH THREE STARTER LEAVES. NO BIG DEAL. THEN THE FIRST SET CAME IN, BY THE THREE'S!!! :confused: THE SECOND SET HAS BEGAN TO FORM AND TO NO CHANGE, IT HAS CAME WITH A THREE LEAF SET. ANY ONE HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS? I WILL POST A PIC IN THE MORNING WHEN THE LIGHTS COME ON.

it happens usually just a random mutation or genetic I would wait till it grows more to see if its aproblem the color is fine so it looks okay to me

The initial three leaves indicate a mutation known as Trilateral Branch development . It is common with cannabis and it surfaces almost daily on the forums . This mutation is found in all strains and hybrids but seems to be more common amongst Asiatic and South American land races . Take it for what its worth and if it is a female it may work to your advantage being that it will naturally produce more tops and branches amongst them .

sweet. i know patience is a key factor in the this grow bizz but if i can catch a problem earlier than later i can trouble shoot it and get faster results. thanks for the reply.

Hope your Blueberry gum does better than mine. I had a DNA Freebie and it was just a shitty pheno. I didn't have a three leaf seedling so your off to a better start. Mine I harvested at 8 to 9w and It was the weirdest smelling bud ever almost like pickles after long cure and the hairs on it were just to much almost like it was fake weed. Still had a buzz to it but was not top shelf by any means. Scrog always helps esp if small grow.

dang dude sorry to hear about that. I recently just lost a DNA la chocolat to an accident pertaining a light hanger. she looked real good though. I would definitely have to pay credit to her genetics cause I believe I have got me here a three leaf purple pheno. if I can figure out how how to link my grow journal to my posts I'd have a link.

damn, I thought I was the only one. My BG smelled weird too..With a lot of hairs. almost like tuna...egghhh....def not blueberry or gum....I was pretty pissed.

Just thought i would share this - my BCBD Purps (3 days old) has 3 cotyledon leaves and 3 regular leaves. She is beautiful otherwise. Def going to make clones and see how she grows! Hoping for the best!
