Blueberry Smash

Greeting fellow rollers, I finally got to sample the Blueberry Smash cross that I concocted as an experimental first breed. A friend in Highlands Ranch tested for me and this is what was found.
Genetics: All Blues × Rhapsody in Blue; the All Blues mother was a short kushy blueberry expression of its genetics which are Absolute Blue x Jo and the father a male from seed out of Rhapsody in Blue which is Super Blue Dream x Jo.

Soil: Roots Organic, Greenlite in clothe pots.

Nutes: Vegamatrix complete starter kit, Og Tea, Organic molasses.

Lights: Vegged under 300w t5 flourescents blue spec, Flowered under 400w 7 spectrum flowering Led supplemented at mid level with two 50w t5.

Enviroment: 4 x 4 mylar tent with silver lining, filtered intake, carbon filtered exhaust.

Life cycle: Vegged 6wks and flowered 8, dropped to 10hrs of light during last two weeks and left if the dark 48hrs before harvest. Dried in the dark and jarred 30 days with periodic burping/wofting.

Smell: like Blue Dream with an almost doughy kush undertone.

Taste: inverse of the smell, doughy kush funk with blue dream undertones.

Effect: very calming, sedative, extremely strong appetite stimulation with zero anxiety deputes being incredibly potent.

*Overall I am very pleased and I know the grower who now has these genetics is as well, I wish some of the funkier odors during flower would have came through but I don't think anyone will be complaining at the way things turned out. I sure hope he shares his cut with as many people as possibl and I'll be sure to post an update in a few months when/if I get a chance to see what happens with my Purple Rain. Till then, I wish you all good growing and happy harvests.

Little highlight reel of a few pics I've posted over the last few years...all leading up to finally getting my own few strains. I'll be sure to share a shot of the Purple Rain when it's done even though it's not my garden it'll still be my genetics and done under my guidance.

That last shot was a DCURE that didn't like the municipal water supply and really yellowed up, was still killer meds.

For some reason I can never see your pics. They all have a red X through them.

That's Hella wierd, is it the ones embedded or the ones that I attach too? These are all linked from my old posts, mostly in Gage Green thread because it rarely documented anything until the last few years when i was in a position to do so legally...now I'm just frolicking whilst waiting for change.

I'll be sure to do seed to smoke journals in the future when the time comes, I'm confident that I can work some stable lines up within a few years of legalization and then it's time to offer Sunflower Seedz at an affordable rate...plan to do a sliding scale for financially eligible patients even. I don't really care about noteriety or money as much as I do providing value to myself and those around me.

Wow well I guess I just got my first lesson is how shady some people can be about genetics, my cousin was quarantining his grow room due to an attempted mold attack and put the unaffected mother plants I'm what he thought was a safe location...long story short the old man said they're his mother plants now and if anyone tries coming on his property to get them he is calling the cops. Hopefully he shares with others and eventually it finds its way back to me, but other than that if anyone in Colorado runs into Blueberry Smash or if it's winds up in Florida where the old man is originally from then you know who the real creator is and same thing goes for Purple Rain. People act like genetics are a treasure map and get all greedy for the gold it seems.

I wasn't around for the grow, but that's a bud shot on plant and here's one dry that I just had him send me. I'll be curious to see how it evolves as slight adjustments are made.
Same nug, different hue..I took that against a white background so after adjusting the hue it looks a little more accurate

Taste like a doughnut with chemdawg infused glaze :p ...has a pretty strong 50/50 effect with no anxiety whatsoever. Both of these little projects gave birth to some all around happy ass feel good medication
