Anyone ever use blumats or any other drip system? I have to leave for 2 weeks and idk if i trust anyone enough to water my plants while I'm gone. So i was thinking about getting blumats before i go, but i was hoping to hear from someone with experience before i do so. Thanks in advance

That should be fine as the containers are small so won't need huge draws of water daily. You can put multiple drippers per plant, the 25L unit can use up to 20 drippers, you basically take the number of plants and divide that into the 20 drippers. So 5 plants = 4x drippers per plant which should be plenty of water on their low setting, that should last you 2 weeks no problem.

I forgot and was wrong when I said I'd only used them for a week at a time. I went for a 2 week vacation in February (1st 2 weeks at once in 30 years!). I left 4 drippers per plant x 4 plants on high setting. Gave them a good soaking before leaving and they were fine when I got back. Was close, another 2 days they may not have made it, but on the setting I used the manual told me it would last about 12 days which it did.

Nice thats whats up. And yea i was gonna ask the same question about the reservoir because i just found out ill be gone for a month, not 2 weeks lol. I might just scrap this grow and start again when i get back. I got 8 seeds about ready to break ground and then find out im taking a month long vacation. Bittersweet.

No but it's possible you could DIY something. I noticed they have a couple of new models which have slightly higher capacity, 30L.

Lol, yeah it wasn't my first break in 30 years, just my first 2 weeks at one time in 30 years. Lots of days here & there, a week here & there. It was very nice though turning my brain off for a full 2 weeks in one shot. Retirement is coming soon, will have too much time on my hands then ;)
