yea but you can run a 400w ant 200w, 300w or 400w, and you could add your t5 panel in th mix with the 400w an d still be able to keep your temps down

im putting a dimmable 400w in a 3x3 tent

im doing a 3 x 3 tent right now with a 2 x 2 t5 pannel and 3 cfl bulbs and look what im getting, a 400 dimmable would be good in a 3 x 3 tent you culd save some money buying the 400w instead of the 600w and put it down on a better air cooled hood or a top of the line 400w bulb or some single tube t5s and stick them on the sides

Will definitely consider all of this. Thanks you guys. I have time to shop around. Will consider the 400w and 600w. Maybe with a different hood cause my cooltube is soo long. 31".

Will probably go that route. except for the hood. At least not right away. Main priorities are tent, fan, filter!

Edit - Here's the ridiculously long Cooltube

Just a thought....if you have a choice and your heat control is up to par...i would run an open reflector.....with a glass(any clear material) cover you lose up to 10-15% light output, and cooling a HID bulb also decreases light output by up to 20% so your looking at 30-35% light decrease by using a cool tube......but if heat is the issue their is no other choice.....

be safe and happy growing.......

^^^^^yeah pretty much........i ran two 250w cmh in a 4x4 area(with dayton exhaust 350cfm) and summer runs where a battle........still the 600w can be dimmed and when you upgrade/enlarge the grow(we always do) you have more options with the 600w IMO.......to each their own..

Some good advise. I will get a 450cfm fan so...

Will take all this into consideration. We always go upgrade so for the extra money maybe grab the 600w. Idk. Got time to think and shop around. DO3SHA - what tent are you running with?

its an earthworth 32 x 32 x 64 i got it on amazon but they are all gone now, people claimed it didnt fit 6" hosing but i otherwise found out it did on mine when i tried, but when buying tents there are cheap quality tents, you get what you pay for, i always go fro the zipper and not the velcro. mine is just as good as all the secret jarden tents for half the price, giv eme a tent size you want and i know some good spots you can get one either locally in 714 or online its all about how much money your willing to spend on a tent

a 450cfm fan should be plenty, i run a 240cfm in a 32x32 and it sucks my tent in like crazy around the frame

Secret Jardin was definately my number 1 pick for a tent but now you say that yours is just as good for way cheaper. When I am looking to buy, I will hit you up on here and try and see what we can find.

Thanks bro.

If these tents are as cheap as you say, I might even go with the 4x4 tent.

More room, Fit a 600w in there. with room for a little dehumidifier/ac unit (if needed)

if you have the room go as big as you can with the tent cus you can always put a tent inside a tent , i think the secret jardins are over priced its like buying a yukon and an escalade same thing but one is more money
