Very Cool. I might have to run more seeds to find a keeper. I have 7 more seeds. Can you remember the taste and the experience you had smoking it?
flavor similar to urkle or possibly sub- cool querkle but potency is a bit stronger than either one sativa at first hour then indica relaxing which I like as I have neuropathy in my feet & lower legs so I'm gonna pick up those seeds

Update: Day 70 from sprout

I topped them again! found out they'd have to chill in the little veg room for at least two more week due to non plant related reasons so I figured I stunt them even more. I tell you it was tough chopping all that beautiful new growth off after it took so long to get there haha. I left the runt untopped and I'm to lst the 4 current tops on that one.

These plants have too many heads! between 8-10 heads per plant even though I only topped twice. This is because the node spacing was so close, after I topped the plants a second time (for 4 heads), all the lower side branching became heads two! There we so many heads I had to reduce them to 8-10 a plant b/c the plant was getting confused as to where to put its growth hormone. They look like Tony Green's plants

One other thing I noticed, they stems on these plants are super hollow. Almost no pith for two plants. This makes the stems super stiff and really tough to bend. I tried super cropping these pants a tiny bit but the branches are brittle. Super cropping on new new growth works, but I don't seem to be getting the results I normally get. Super cropping aside, I heard hollow stems (according to DJ short I believe) are associated with potency and I believe BOG was definitely selecting for hollow stems.

Hey whats up guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates, I decided I wouldn't update until something worth while happened. I needed to stall the plants in the 2x3 cabinet because of my living arrangements, but I'm coming back strong for flowering with some new gear! Over the past two weeks I've built a new 3x6 flower cabinet and a 450 watt COB led light running off 9 citizen CLU048's. I've just potted up into these 5 gallon aerating containers called oxypots and I'm vegging until 3'x5' of cabinet is nice and crowded.

Over 3 months of veg! HOly fuck! If you guys ever need to stall a plant in veg mode, sour bubble is the way to go lol. Unfortunately, the plants are in bad shape from being over crowded in a tiny cab for 3+ months. They grew unevenly despite intense defoliation and training. Nitrogen deficiency as well. The plan is to tie them down to a tomato cage, let the side growth take off, then let them flower baby. sweet jesus its been too long of a wait!

About how much was your led setup and are you happier with them?
The 9x CLU048 setup was about $600 after everything was said and done. Building it was difficult for me as it was pretty much my first serious electronics project and I was in a time crunch with other things. Still, it came out well after reading up on rollitup and watching the growmau5 videos.

I am REALLY happy with the LED's. The price per watt is still difficult to justify if you have a good hps set up. The people who really see the benefit from COB are the stealth growers or vertically challenged growers. My tent is only 54 inches tall, so having COB's to is absolutely necessary if I want to max out the space's ppfd. Also, I don't run ac and the Cobs (especially under driving them) are definitely keeping my temps down. I run them with 1050ma drivers but they are dimmed to 50% right now. The amount of control you can have with dimming and evenly spreading the COBS out are also an enormous boons for COB lights over hps. Probably just as important to consider as light output.

With all that said, I've been running them less then a week so all this is bull shit numbers until I harvest

The sour bubbles really want their N compared to the sour grapes. One of my sour grapes wasn't able to take the heat wave that just happened around my parts and got severely stunted. The other plants were extremely heat resistant and were only stunted a little. Now I'm hoping these girls don't stretch much over the next few weeks bc I don't have a lot of vertical space. Wish me luck lol

15 days into flower and these girls are moving along. The sour grape which was light sensitive also came down with a case of root rot over the past week so I'm treating it with sm-90. Fingers crossed. Also, the two sour bubbles (branchy and corn stock pheno) on the left side of the room are noticeably behind the sour grapes and viney sour bubble plant on the right side. There's a tiny possibility that its a light leak on that side bc the orca film my tent is made of isn't 100% light proof. Otherwise, they are healthy!
