What have you done to the ecotec?? I know they are a good boost reciever if internals upgraded and box strengthened, but a commie manual box holding any power unless heavily modded??? Whats the secret???
Bought the car like it for $8800, 7 years ago, motor is a VS BT1 out of a old police car, my gearbox is on it's last legs, pretty sloppy, single T4 turbo with a huge front mount cooler, got like 10 k in reciepts =)) I miss my VY SS ute 6 speed, stroked to a 6.2, stage 3 cam, dyno sheets had 333 kw atw, loudest and lumpiest cam, sold it for $22000, stupid p plate laws

took a while to find a pic, but this is a bloke I worked with's vs twin turbo wagon, built as a sleeper you wouldn't know it was turbo'd from the outside.. Had a powerglide 2 speed behind it though..

P plate laws can eat my shit

it makes me laugh when people talk shit about the ecotec, they are actually quite a decent motor for a V6.. Internals are really quite strong from factory, cast iron block so you can cook the shit out of it and they don't die.. Depends weather it was a getrag or T5, T5's can take a beatin..man your ski boat will be some fun! Hahahah

ive heard this aswell.. I probably should have added that the temperature at the moment is around 25-30C and they'll spend most of there life during summer where temps will be in the 30's and dry, humidity doesn't get very high where I am either and I can utilise every hour the sun is up as well so I'm hoping I can get away with it.

Hope it works out, The morning dew alone can rot them when its 80's and 90's daytime and 60's @ night. IMO ..the light is too intense in the summer for blooming.

I will deffinatly keep that in mind, cheers heaps.. This will be my first run with autos so mostly it will be a learning experience.. I thinking about building a greenhouse in the backyard, do you think that would be a better environment for them?

I dunno.. Assuming yeah, cause the Sun is less intense in Greenhouse..
Maybe some 30% Shade Cloth ? I know your Sun is More intense than here @ 45° North.

it might be something I get onto sooner rather then later, 30% shade cloth might be an idea I reacon. The summers do get pretty intense here, really dry to, last outdoor I had I was watering it 2-3 times a day in the middle on summer, ended up putting rags over the soil and keeping them damp, hence why I wanted to get around to building a greenhouse

Greenhouse is a great idea man! Make sure it gets good airflow though....

yeah I'm planning on building it so I can roll each end up for more air flow and keeping it cooler during the 30+ days.. Got a little rain water tank next to where I want it so I'm thinking of rigging some sort of irritation/dripper system up to the green house so everything is being fed by rainwater.. Going to be a bit of a working progress but it will be worth it

I had mold issues with Dinafem, Bomb and Heavyweight strains. I had better results with Pyramid white widow auto. I live in an area that has 100% humidity on a regular basis though.
Midweek song is awsome btw.
Good luck with your grow!
