Botanicare CNS17 Growers

Anyone running this line?, if so I'm about to try it for a entire grow (using the soil & coco line) and could use some fresh input
....and yup I've done my due diligence; and yes no smart ass Google it post (I've already checked out thread after thread), but could use some live conversation as I have some specific as yest un-answered questions:

-as mixed with RO, I'm in week 7 and using Ripe as per instructions @ 25 ml/gal,,,,this gives me a pH of 5.2 and I'm already having Mg issues as of late...just wondering if anyone gets similar params and if so do you leave as is?

-anyone know how to use a nute calculator, and if so which one? I'm thinking about adding some Dyna Gro mag pro and could use some mixing rates (coco profile, late flower)

- anyone else notices this stuff isn't very water soluble, esp: the grow bottles
- anyone sticking with this line? ifso please post your experiences here

I use cns-17 these days, with coco, and a few other setups :-)
Ok, few things. First thing, and it's sort of the only prob i have with this base nute: Mix with warm water, shake it up, than add.
I only run the grow, bloom, or ripe @ 15ml MAX. Your ph won't drop as much, and you won't waste as much nutes, and/or have as much salt buildup ;-) Trees or sog alike, i found more than 15ml to be a waste, with EVERY strain I run.
I have rather "soft" water where i live(50ppm tap water). Add that we are also growing in coco, i add 1/2 tsp. per gal of calmag always.
Cns17 rocks dude, but i'm getting word cns-17 is being discontinued. Not sure yet of the rumor though.

damn, and I just filled my res, and I mean "just", not 10 min ago @ 25 ml/gal and 5.1 pH (damn low I know)
..and my RO is locked in at 0 ppm (got new resin, et) ...so I'm hoping the low pH this late in flower doesn't really fuck things up....
...and yeah those leaf edges are lookin a lil crispy lately like a mag deficiency is creepin in

Oh yeah, i really love the higher amount of nitrogen compared to others, as far as the bloom.
Here's how i run the different formulas in flower: Usually :-)
Grow for the first week of flower.
Bloom for week 2, until 3 weeks before chop, chop time.
Then i switch to Ripe until finish. Works good dude!
Add that calmag next time, and I can almost guarantee you won't have mag deficiencies next time.
And AlWAYS correct ph to 5.8~6.0

what do you use for pH up? Do you buy bonified pH up for hydro? or use something else?
I've never had to use it (always used GH's pH down)

Starting with RO water, your usually gonna need pH up, on the shelf anyways :bigjoint:
You can't go wrong with GH's pH up either. Lately I've been experimenting again with silicate and fulvic acid. The right combo, and I don't need ph up or down.

OK, well, there doesn't seem to be to many cns17 users in the house. But word is they are just discontinuing the soil & coco formula. Oh well.

I hope that's not the case. Just bought the last bottles on the shelf at my local store but the guy that was working didn't know if it was being discontinued or what.

I use the Coco Grow formula in DWC with the regular hydro Bloom formula when not using PBP.

If CNS17 is going away - is Botanicare bringing out a new line? I haven't really researched their Kind (I think it's called) line, is that one similar I wonder?

From my understanding, they are just ditching the "coco&soil" formulas. Cns17 lives on. Some of my pals are using the "regular" formulas with coco, and killing it. So, i'm not to bummed. I'll just probably stop using the silicate.
