botanicare nute advise needed

600 watt hps
in ffof soil in 4 gallon pots

My current schedule is every three days I water or feed. In this sequence water, water, feed ext..... I started to get some deficiencies. So I switched to feed, feed, water. And now im getting nute burn just a little on the tips....
Nutes...botanicare original grow 1\2 strength with cal mag 1\2 strength for veg... Original bloom 1\2 strength with sweet raw 1\2 strength for flower.
Can anyone familiar with these nutes help me out with a solid schedule? My girls look good but I have been switching things up allot and im just stressed out by the amount of trial and error shit. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

alternate feed water feed water try that their liquid karma is great product

overkill. feed once in veg once in flower. your expensive soil has enough raw materials and biota to last for decades

commerical chemical fertilizers kill the soil life or biota/flora which in turn will require you to supplement the chemicals for the remainder of the plants life. its a deadly cycle. also, evertime you feed you add more salts minerals and heavy metals which buildup and cause a problem in itself. try and wean off of the steroids.

anything that is not done gradually will also cause shock to life, wether it feeding, flushing, temperature changes, anything that harms homeostatis. it works the way for (almost) all life.

id say water water water feed or something like that.

id throw some compost in between one of those waters. you mix it ontop the soil, and water it in. not only is it raw food, but it has tons of decomposers in it already breaking down the food, ready to populate your soil and feed off your soil, wood chips etc. some fungi have even learned to feed off of pvcs and plastics! amazing. life needs food. wheres the environement is fertile and in balance, life will adapt. chemicals directly kill fertility.

thanks for the info bmeat. It really makes alot of sence, being a noob without a teacher sucks. I spent the last three years learning to brew my own beer (self taut). And the trial and error shit is getting old. I was told that botanicare original grow was a compost tea (organic). This gave the the idea that i wasnt harming my soil life. So im in week five of flower and i fed them 2 days ago. Do u sugest that i stop feeding for these last 3 weeks and use ony water?

I have had my eye on the liquid karma. I gotta give it a try on the next cycle. Ive got an auto critical and a auto diesel vegging now

Are you using the Pro Soil Grow and Bloom? If so I am using the same nutes. Great nutes and I had no issues on my first grow with starting nutes at 5ml per gallon at week 3 of veg. But that was using cheap soil. This grow I am using FFOF and Happy Frog. At week 3 I started with my 5 mls of grow nutes and all my got nute burn so I water with only water and a few days later tried 1 ml of nutes and got burn again so I waited another week and did the same 1 ml and burn yet again. I am pretty much ready to flower and I have not needed to feed and grow nutes only camg, sweetener and Bio Root. I have found that FFOF especially is very rich in nutes and for me I see no need to feed veg nutes unless you start seeing the leaves yellow, thids way be the case with you as well.

thanks for confirming the nuts are good. Sounds like i should have waited till late into flower to use the grow. Great post intenseneal this helps alot.

I use the exact same nutes, with liquid karma in pro mix bx medium every single grow. Wonderful products. I feed half amount with every water. (2 gal pots) I water every morning, or as needed. I notice the only issue with the product is it lack Cal Mag, I need to get some to supplement because lemon kush always shows bad def. No problem with any other strain. Good luck!

Veg nutes will not have enough cal or mg in the to give the plant what it needs. If using RO water you need to dose a separate camg. Also make sure your Ph is 6.0-7.0 I always need to increase my Ph. I keep it at 6.5 and this really helped to make the nutes more available to my plants.

If nutes are organic they usually promote soil life. Still, my organix mix recommends food.every 8 weeks.so.i.do.every 10 or once in.veg once flower..companies always say to use more than.needed to use up.product ans buy more.

Thanks for all the info. Things are looking better veg room is on track. Harvest went good and the flower room is full agin. Now just got to keep it that way.

well i feel bad for not showing any pics so here ya go. Once agin thanks for the help.. Pick 1,2,3,4, are of the spots i was getting. I havent seen any on my new grow so im cool with that.This was just a bag seed grow but it really kicked ass. I couldnt beleave it turned out so well. Really potent and stanky. Super couch lock tho. And im sorry for the hps on pics. Im asleep when they shut off and im worried about a hot start so i dont like to turn the light off during a light cycle.

thanks I have some clones of this one in flower now. I have some auto critical and some auto berry+diesel in veg and they are looking nice. Ill post some pics when they get bigger.
