Ummm...I got a sample of it...I didn't get as good a results with their veg nute as I get with the bio-grow that is from uhhhhh General Hydroponics General Organics line...but I use the bio-grow during veg and then use some of the pure blend stuff in flower...sometimes...ehhh....I didn't like it all that much at all, but my plants seem to want very little nutes during flower...so I hardly use any and I am happy with the way everything turns out with my plants, so I will keep on doing what I am doing...but I am not sure about the bloom one---it seems to be alright---but the veg didn't give me the same fast results as the bio grow...and the bio grow seems to stick around awhile...like you don't need to use nutes all the time...you can't really and keep the plants healthy...

I'm currently using it now. I wasn't happy with fox farms so I decided to try botanicare . I'm a couple weeks from harvest and I've been using it from the start. Seems to working pretty well for me. Better than the fox farms at least.

feed it half veg n half bloom for the first wk or two. get yourself some hydroplex, aquashield, sweet and some liquid karma. usually hydro shops have feeding charts for the nute lines they carry. follow the feed charts at 1/2 strength and bump it up if needed. good luck.

I just ordered Botanicare pure blend pro soil nute. My question is do i need to combine it with any other nute or is it good by itself? heres a pic http://www.ecogrow.com/images/PBProSoil-5gal.jpg
I used Botanicare stuff for about 8 years in the dirt as that's what BOG used at one time and I wanted to grow herb like him. Pureblend worked fine, though I think their dose of nitrogen in their bloom formula is a little low for flowering. Overall, it's a pretty good product at a very reasonable price, just don't be afraid to hit them with 'grow' during the flowering cycle in order to keep those leaves healthy.

So to answer your question; no, you do not need to use anything else other than the two bases.

Unless you're running ro then add 5ml / gal. I use this works great... G. O. Groww bio grow also great. I mainly use that for bene teas! Good luck

i been running botanicare for years... grow is ok but two part will get you faster growth. The bloom I still use till the end. First additive you should buy is liquid karma. It will increase the effectiveness of the base

Best advice I can give you is this: Don't just use supplements because people say you "need" them. A good amount of people who will tell you that you need additives don't even really understand what's in those additives or what they do.

The PBP bases can do just fine on their own.

One thing you can do is add some dolomitic lime to your soil mix. This will help you avoid calmag issues down the road.
