Bottom Feeding

I was wondering has anyone tried bottom feeding. Recently I came across a system called earthbox. I adopted the method using 2, 5 gallon buckets. I placed a 18 in one and it is doing great in veg. However, I am uncertain on how to introduce blooming nutrients. Currently using Happy Frog fruit and vegtable which was mixed in 2parts coco and 4parts pro mix with 1part perlite as the soil. Currently vegging under 600 mh. When she goes into flower it will be 1000hps mixed with 600mh.
Just to experiment, I placed several clones from solo cups into 1gal pots and placed all of them into a cloning tray poured water in the tray and let the mix wick up the water. They too are growing great strains obsidian ice, and 18.

I bottom fed in sip planters. Real nifty. They did awesome and drank when thirsty. They look similar2 the earth box. Be sure2 keep good air circulation in the room because they sit in water and the soil is constantly damp. And watch that you're feeding properly, they will sit in a bad mix and can't run. The good containers are designed 2allow oxygen2 the roots and plants lovem.
