Bottom Nug Appreciation Thread

Eeeeeeveryobody likes the main cola. It's the apex. Soup du jour. Creme de la creme.

But, you gotta have a soft spot for side nugs. Bottom branches, popcorn nugs, whatever you want to call them.

I love getting a tight little golf ball nug. They are manageable, tasty, and have a more desirable nug/stem ratio.

I'll leave with this shot of a frosty Northern Lights side nug:

What ever you want to call them......If you harvest the mains and continue to finish the lowers.....They get more potent then their big sisters......
Defoliation for extra light for them is not needed! You can grow big lowers with out progressive harvesting.
Read this thread and check some of those lower bud pics out!

@ttystikk ,,,, That pic looks kinda defoliated,,,,,buds look almost small for the plants size/age...Is it defoliated some? Why? I ask with all respect and this is not an attack. Just trying to zero in on your mindset....

It was, fan leaves were progressively taken off in the last few weeks. Scale might be messing with you, too; the trellis is six feet tall above the tub.
