Get off the threads before you fuck someones grow up dude. Can we see your current grow or your last one just to make sure we should be listening to you. If I'm wrong and your legit i apologize, but you and your boy are making it sound like you've never grown before let alone on a commercial level like you are talking running 64 plants on a 4x4 flood table.
Never said I've done it, but its been done by others. I don't have to do something to know it can be done - or to know the formula for doing it.

Here's the last three soil plants I grew, pics taken a few weeks before harvest. Got around 6 ounces total.

My first two plants - got just over six ounces from them.

First Dutch Bucket - A few days into flower. Even after supercopping and LST, she still grew wild and lanky. Got just over three ounces from her.

My current Dutch Bucket in flower - I just gave her a haircut cuz she looked like this.

I don't claim to be a great grower - I get pretty average yields at around .7 g/w. But that doesn't mean I don't know what's possible, or how it can be done. The reason I haven't tried a hi density SOG grow is the upfront expense of buying seeds. If I ever find myself with a hundred or so feminized seeds in my hands, the first thing I will do is set up a 2x3 flood table in my small grow cabinet.

G8 led has pretty good reviews for under 1k. Kind led is what I'm saving for which is over 1k.

Not a big fan of diy leds. When my house burns down I want my insurance to cover it.

If they were as legit as they seem they would just assemble them and sell them in mass production rather than selling kits on the internet.

Mars 2 led and viparspectra led has a 1k watt equivalent seems to have pretty good reviews for $400 but it's hard to tell anymore whether people are getting paid to post reviews.
stupidest shit i think i have ever read.

or even aluminum foil
I used foil in my Veg cabinet, just have not got around to doing this other cabinet yet. I'll probably do the left side with white paint as soon as the plant in there is finished - probably another 4 weeks.

On a side note - I just found out all the Voltage/Current displays I have are way off, with the exception of one. The first one I got works great, matches up to my multimeter exactly. Then a month or so later I got three more (from a different seller) and every one displays almost double the actual current. So I've really been using about half the power I thought I was using - at least on the right side of my cabinet where I had one of the "new" displays. Damn, I knew I should have verified them all as soon as I got them!

the downside of aluminum foil is its electrically conductive

that can be less than ideal esp in DIY world

yeah those cheapies can be all over the map, ivve gotten some of the $10 volt/current meters that were off by 10-20%.

double seems like a lot - i wonder if theres some sort of jumper or setting on it?

Its got a adjustments for both voltage and current. Voltage adjust works ok, but the current adjust won't bring it down even close. 10-20% is what I would expect and could live with. Wish now I woulda checked them when they came in, I could have returned them but its way too late now. Ehh, only paid 7 bucks for three, so not a big deal. Gonna have to go back find the first seller...
