boveda humidipak and curing?

My local smoke shop was carrying these two way humidity control packs called Humidipak by boveda. The packet i picked up is supposed to keep a relative humidity at %72 up to seven grams. Great at revitalizing bone dry nug, made this jack jr. smoke even more amazing.

I'm wondering if anyone would recommend using the larger packs they carried(humidity control up to a half pound?) for curing. If so when would be the proper time to put them into the container with the bud? Is 72% too high to have the humidity if the plant was recently dried?

IMHO 72% is far to humid.
But hey, there would never be progress if people didn't try crazy shit.

thats what i figured right away, %72 seems crazy high. It didn't drench the buds i tested it on. It just revitalized them. Took away any signs of being packaged, brought WAY more smell out of em.

70% is the target level for cigars. The same thing would work perfect for weed but the hum would have to be lower.

I've looked around at humidors and such, cigar equip. could be used for weed and it would be perfect with the humidity meters and all. Instead of opening jars every day and guessing what the humidity levels are inside you can dial it in to a perfect level.

Too bad there's not a pack like this just for weed.

I have one of these Humidipaks and I was wondering if I could put it in the glass jar with the curing buds.
72% does seem a bit high, but what if it was only for a short period of time, like between burpings?
