BquamB & S7even's Bag-Seed/ CFL Journal

Okay Everybody... You may have seen my and S7even's previous Grow journal, but was lost due to that Fucking SQL Injection attack. Pecker-Heads........

Anyways, I will throw down a quick over view of our grow from start to now- Lots of pictures to view from seedling to present, 2 weeks into flower.

FROM THE START(Ish... I have a few pics on a flash drive not with me right now....Sry)!!!

So S7even and I had these 3 bag seeds (well, we had about 7 total) and we decided after a previous grow attempt to try again and see what type of Bud we could grow-
In hopes that we have more knowledge than the previous attempt.

We had been reading through: Jorge Cervantes' "Marijuana Horticulture - Indoor/Outdoor Growers Bible"
And it is a fantastic "Pickup and Read" type book. Doesn't matter where you start (Obviously the first pages are Very Important)
but if we were bored, we would just flip to a page and read what it had to say.

To start off- Germination (With No pictures)

We have a method which we took from RIU a while back to germinate our seeds.
It has been reliable, not too difficult and has given quick results each time.

Step 1: Supplies
-2x Sheets of paper towel (non shitty stuff)
-2x Small porcelain plates (washed and clean)
-Seeds (Hopefully have been kept dry, and stored in a dark/ cool room)
-Bleach
-Shot glass
-Spray bottle
-Water
-Nail file/ Sandpaper &/or a match Box.

Step 2: Soak
-Gather the seeds you wish to germinate and put in a Match box with sand paper and shake for a few seconds to score. (Very fine, Non course)
(Or if you have a Nail file, You give the seeds a slight scuffing around the outside edge of the seed)
-Get your Shot glass and fill with water/ Throw in seeds and let sit for 24Hrs in darkness

Step 3: Prep
-Lay down a sheet of paper towel on each plate
-Take your spray Bottle and put in a small drop of bleach in mixed with water.
(Bleach will help to kill any harmful or unwanted germs/ Bacteria which lay on the plate or Paper towel)
-Take your seeds from the "Soak Tank" and place on the paper Towel, With enough space between for the tap roots
-Spray the Paper towel on both plates (I fold my paper towel in half for a thicker piece) until wet (No puddle)
-Take the Paper towel from the other plate and place on top of the seeds and give a small press (With clean hands)
so that its surrounding the seeds
-Place in a cool, Dark, Dry place and check on every 12-24hrs to make sure has not started to dry.
-If drying, spray with WATER, no bleach.

Step 4: Sprouted
-Once sprouted, take the seeds with the Taproots and place 2x the height of the seed deep/ or <1cm Deep in soil - Cover)
-If not sprouted place with pointed side up and Cover with Soil.
-Water with a mister for the first few days as the whole median which you planted in doesn't need to be soaked just the top until you see it start to push to the top soil.
-Wait. Not all plants will show at the same time - Have patience!!!!

Enough with the long and boring stuff.

EQUIPMENT TO GROW:
-2x 45w 4100K Cool White Lights, each with 3300 Lumen
(Next grow, we hope to have an HPS or 6500k CFL's to replace or add too our 4100K lights)
-1ft 10" Wide x 12" Deep x 5 Foot Tall Cupboard
-1x 8" Fan at the very top, above where our cords were sitting & Timer
[Have recently purchased a 3'x2'x5' Mylar Grow Tent for our flowering stage]

So S7even and I planted our seeds in those Beer/ Party Cups. with Holes in the bottom for Drainage. They work awesome.
