Branch split healing ?

Pulled one of my plants out of the room.
Forgot one branch was wired down.
Almost ripped it off.
About half the stalk / branch is still attached,
Taped it back together.
Will it be alright ?

Yes it should form a knuckle and heal itself. I have done this along with many others in this group so your not alone.

Haha. I know the feeling. It took mine two weeks to heal all the way and feel strong again.

Remove that tape after 3 or 4 days.

I was lucky and didn't have to use tape...

I wasn't so lucky.

If I hadn't taped it, the branch would be hitting the floor. Branch is almost 3 feet long.

Haha aww man... you'll be alright in a few weeks. I damaged mine just as it was starting to flower but it still healed and grew a nice bud. I had topped mine and it was one of two main cola's which were small because I had to lo gro. 3 feet is a whopper you may need to splint that. Could you show a pic?

And I did use a piece of bamboo to prop it up.

if you leave it because there are other branches it will help with the lighting. i had a cola come straight up and become 2 so i split it with a razor and stuck a twig in there. its doing fine and let alot of light in.

This is a good thing to have happen and happen now. The callous, or knuckle, will form within 24 hours and be almost totally "healed". Why is it good? Now you'll know that they can live and what to do about it if you can access a PC quick in the future. The restorative properties pot has for itself are amazing and I wish more research was done to see why and if that can be useful to man or animals.
