Don't do this. Vent through the attic to the exterior of the building (roof vent etc) but never just into the attic. This will create a serious mold problem which can negativity impact your health.
Assuming I need to run longer ducting, do you recommend 1-2 more inline fans to get the air sucked up to the attic and out?

Yep, hot humid air condenses in the cool attic causing black mold.

Depends on your situation. You can put in a wall vent, they make them in all sizes. You could go through the attic to a roof vent. Sometimes you can make a board that fits in a window and put a vent thru that (not stealth).

Id personally run 8 315 cmh over 4 3x6 flood trays, make sure to buy OD trays so they fit. I'd set them up off the floor high enough to crawl under them to reach the other side. I have tried about every new light and still see nothing qaulity wise competing with the cmh. My worst yield off a 315 is 8 ounces and that was due to pulling herms. But even if hit low side of 8 zips per light that's 4lbs total and potentially up to 8lbs. You would essentially be using about 8x12 space for flowering (figuring 2 ft walk ways on both sides of trays). That leaves you one wall empty on that wall you NEEED TO VEG. Id go with two 2x4x?(tallest you can find that will fit) divide the 2x4 up with a shelve in the middle. If you do it this way you have 32 sq ft of veg space only taking up 16sq ft of floor space. If it was me I'd just veg with t5. Having no veg space dramatically cuts back yield per year. Also your gonna wanna run from clone and keep mother's when you find some nice ones, it helps to achieve better quality and yield as you can learn the plant and cater to it's need cycle after cycle.

With 600 watt HPS you should be pulling about 10 - 12 pounds. I personally think the 315 CMH is under lighting a 3x3.

Well I just saw that he was looking at led so figured power consumption is as an issue and since I've learned to adapt growing style for the 315 I consistently hit a gram per watt out of a 3x3 area. I have a hard time hitting a gram per watt off 600 hps, of course I was always air cooling them and those reflectors don't have best footprint.

If you wanna go with LED, get good ones.

If you don't have a trellis then support becomes a major issue. Personally I hate running without a trellis but access in a tent can be problematic.

Another option is ditch the tent. Use the whole room. Then you can have more space to move around the whole perimeter and even leave aisles between 4x4 or 5x5 segments.

I recommend the Timber lights if you want a LED thats a true HPS replacement. Just go by their coverage area charts.

After a bit of a delay, I have purchased a 4x8 tent, I decided to go with 2 Redwood VS lights.

Any recommendations on how many oscillating fans to have in there at minimum and what size inline AC infinity fan shall I go with? 6" or 8"

I will have natural air circulating in the room from other parts of the house/outside via window in the room. My question is Co2 necessary in the tent?

I own BOTH a timber light and an HLG 550 v2 Rspec. Either brand you get good quality but the MOST efficient is the HLG 550v2 Rspec.

Better PPFD

Timber VS 640 watt, 906 ppfd from 18"
Timber Fatty, 950 watt, 905 ppfd from 18"
HLG 550 V2 Rspec, 480 watt, 1178 ppfd from 18"

"PPF and PPFD measure the quantity of such photons. The critical difference is that PPFD measures the density of these photons falling on a particular surface, while PPF is a measure of the total number of photons released from a light source. "

Renfro quoted PPFD number for HLG and PPF numbers for Timber. PPFD is what matters. My comparison is unbiased and fair.

Bump!

Any suggestions on what size AC Infinity fan I should purchase? Considering we have colder temps here currently, I was thinking of venting the air out towards an open window in the room but not directly pointing out. Some warm air exchange wouldn't be a bad idea to sort of warm the room? Any thoughts or suggestions? I plan on leaving window open for optimal co2 and fresh air. The room sits at 50-60 degrees so I need to use a heater of some sort, I figured why not recycle some of the air?
