Breaking News. Vegas Med Patients Furious.

You won't get a chance to watch this event often.
NV patients were left in long lines with jacked up prices since july 1st.
Check out essence on the strip weedmaps reviews. Put them in order of most recent. Patients at all dispensary reviews in Vegas are pissed especially the ones that shopped near the strip.
Essence can't erase the real reviews fast enough while filling in the fluff reviews. That is probably only making the locals more pissed. Might be cooling down but I think the real reviews being removed are only getting the people leaving them more pissed off in the short run.

Medizin on sunset road, off strip, where they did not remove real reviews as of now and don't add fluff. Check out there weedmap reviews for the last 7 days. Endless paragraph's of 1 star reviews.

Just a minute ago I was going to copy and paste a message at essense. It was gone 5 mins later. Jist of it was something like: we will not stop posting you &^$&% as long as you %$^%##%$ keep removing our $%$&& reviews. They are trying 5 star bad reviews, and essence is evolving. The fluff is going from typical Love your flower! Best Buds! Awesome staff! To well worded explanations of why the complainers should stop.
Just click once in awhile and you might get lucky and see a good one before it's removed.

Totally agree. I expected the same. Just think weed maps reviews being posted are entertaining and wanted to share.

So this thread is about some petty gripe you have with a local shop?

no, i believe its about all the government sanctioned shops in vegas selling crappy weed for too much money and then taking down all the negative reviews they get and substituting fake good reviews

I don't have any emotions toward any shop. I grow my own. I don't go to the dispensaries except to sample some strains or when I'm out. I'm not a customer otherwise. I just have never saw a situation like this on weed maps where you have a lot of real customers, don't know how many, trying to leave real reviews that are angry reviews, 1 star reviews, having them removed and coming right back after their review is removed in large #'s. Just thought if someone wanted to see it happening the time is now because it will cool down soon. Thought someone would find it entertaining or interesting. Don't really care otherwise. Just wanted to leave share for those that want to see it.

So yeah. I should have left the stupid breaking news thing out. I just meant it the way news stations use it all the time for something that is not new news. Did not mean I was saying something that everyone else didn't already know. While it's not new news to many of you and most of vegas, I'm probably touching on a topic that some people probably are a bit emotional about. I'm out. Have fun. This happens when you give a bunch dummies authority to regulate something they know nothing about. It's like every state has to reinvent the fucking wheel again each time legalization happens. They have all of these rules/regs that are hurting distribution and sales. It's not plutonium and it isn't being controlled like alcohol. I'm sure it will change but probably way to slow. On well, you don't throw all of the little growers under the bus and expect things to go smoothly.

No hard feelings toward dispensaries or their business practices. From my 300+ posts that can all be read over the last 18 months. I only mention dispensaries and growers once that I am aware of, in one thread over a year ago to give Nevada patients a way that might help them to select weed. You won't find anything else.
What I thought was interesting and probably thought wrongly that someone else might find interesting,
is that you have a tale of three business models.

some are removing bad reviews.
Some are leaving all reviews.
One removed all good and bad reviews for the last 18 months.

Just curious to see if not letting the people have their voice is going to give some long term trouble on weedmaps or elsewhere.
While the ones allowing their complaints to be heard are giving people a chance to let off steam because people know other places around town are removing real reviews and they may calm down alot faster.

You may think all of vegas is the same, but their is a huge difference in the way the dispensaries on the strip can operate versus the places in the local communities. Even casino operators all know this if they know what they are talking about.

I hear you. Reviews are the customer's feelings and thoughts. If the vender can fuck with those then why bother with reviews if it's just another scam. It pisses me off that things are still "sketchy" after legalization but I'm sure it will go mainstream in a few years... or decades.

I know it has to have a difficult launch. Vegas is unique. A million plus locals buying all year long. Many millions of tourist buying smoke for a short visit.
And while the quality grows won't be around for a long time, I think it was the only way to go for now, to open mega facilities that can feed the masses. Just don't expect what you are looking for if you are a connoisseur. The new smokers and novice smokers (the masses) will love it.
Weedmaps was useless and boring to me when I'd check it out in the past, the menu was helpful. For some though it became a community of buyers in vegas that started using weedmaps as a forum spot. They would share info with others that they trusted on weedmaps and benefit that way. They feel betrayed right now. 1st by the way the opening went and 2nd that they were chatting for more than a year being wooed into the belief that they were special customers, only to get thrown under the bus by not being able to air their grievances.
Maybe a dispensary somewhere in the country has a couple of people really pissed of on any given day. Maybe a bad day is having three people pissed off. Each dispensary has an enormous # of pissed off people right now.
I have my own stash right now. Only once parked across the street from the source on rainbow to watch the crowds. While not personally affected by it I do feel their pain.
