When you're as well known in the cannabis world as yourself, Sub, the opinion of other tokers that, and yes I include myself in this as well, might as well be noobs in comparison to yourself, shouldn't be your concern lol...I mean..I've seen other growers that have been around for 25 years or so as well, I know a guy in my neighbourhood who is around mid forties been growing since he was fifteen and his grow ops are PATHETIC compared to yours...Not even 1/3 of your beautiful resin shines on his plants lol...anyway, I just want to say thanks so much for the inspiration, I'm listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers right now and toking on my lesser bud while drooling over yours XD

Thanks again...,

Awsome info man! Those buds are so resin coated you can't see the bud for the resin! This is so cool, the info on how to chose a male plant is worth it's wait in bud! I'm going to have to find other threads by subcool!

Sifu (subcool), please take this miserable noob as your student. The pictures in your thread cause a viscous like fluid to appear on ones lips when viewing. I need your kung fu style to raise my consciousness to new heights.

Seriously though, thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. I will seek your posts, past, present and future for more of such knowledge gems.

Best regards,
Quickset

First, thanks for the hard work you put into your posts. I am always blown away by the accompanying pictures. Kudos sir!

Due to the recent close proximity of the moon in it's full position, I decided to crack some old beans. On JGB fall tour in 93 or 94 I got kicked down a bag of something the cat said contained seeds called "eclipse" supposedly a f1 of the hawaiian sativa mom in the bag and a paki side kush dad that made resin on it's first set of true leaves, and had some webbed genes. I popped some in 96 and got low female ratios, but kept one webbed pheno we called "i95" since it grew one main cola with no branching, and smelled like magnolias, allowing us to grow it feet from i95 and go get two foot buds in 8 weeks. The story on how that mom died would cause lols all over the place at my expense so I'll skip it for now but she's gone.

So now out of 17, 16 are up and at em and the sheer uniformity of them is amazing. All cracked within two hours of each other and are within 1/2 " now.

My question is, what do I look for in the males as keeper candidates? I plan to work with for my first breeding project.

The bag I got in providence, r.i. was the best of the tour and gave me 40 seeds to play with. The i95 cuts were dripping, chunky bluish nuggets that cut through anything. I've dreamed of these seeds for 13 years now and am living the dream. Any help would be appreciated. Also germed was a single trainwreck bagseed from sometime in the 90's. Neither my lowlands Thai or oaxacan popped yet, but no mold either.

I recently cloned a female that had just shown sex.I would have waited til i had revegged her but i accidently broke off the main top.So i said fuck it and took 5 hairy clones.3 dead 2 beautiful rooted furry babies.11 days ,ill never do that again.I used youre method though Sub.Rapid Rooters are the shit!!!!!:weed: I know had these cuttings been in veg i would have had a 95% success at least!!!!!

Sub.. i just have to say thank you. I've been checking out growing forums for years and your numerous threads on organics and gentic selection have had a big impact.
I've tried many different seed banks, from Mr. nice to Flying dutchman.. all the ''best''.. and a shit load of others.. untill i recently discovered the most underated seed producer out there. now i say underated.. but everyone i have ever seen get tga beans has had nothing but props and praise. I got myself a pack of the dairy queen, the apollo 13 BX and JC II.. and man oh man.. best genetics that have ever graced my not too limited growing career. The apollo 13 BX is my favourite, i'll get some picks of her (hopefully) up when i find my camera cable.

Anyways, enough rambling, i just wanted to say THANK YOU SUB and TGA crew for making dank x dank = danker.. in dirt.. serious respect.

Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed the book Dank and the Agent Orange is at the top of my patients favorites list.

You've shown it to be possible to do some great breeding without using 100's of plants for selection. Just know what you are looking for. I have some breeding projects I've been working on and I owe much of the inspiration to you, so thanks man !

Hey Sub. I'm still prowling your material like you told me to. :) I just have a quick question. Why do you not produce any feminized seeds? I'm a little curious. Whenever you get back to me is fine. Thanks again for everything.

It's a marketing ploy IMO
The technique to do it correctly is extremely complex and worse it bottle necks the cannabis gene pool.
The proper way to grow and find Dank is through proper selection.
