breeding for seeds?

hey guys .. I have 10 Lowryder 2's coming in the mail, and since the extent of my growing experience is a couple different bagseed plants that weren't exactly successful, I just want to confirm some things. I'm just wondering exactly what I need to do if I wanted to produce seeds with my first grow? Is the only thing I would have to do be to leave a male in with a female? Will the buds still be good to smoke once the plant has been pollinated? In all the grow videos I've watched, and all the stuff I read, the only information I get is that you want the males killed as soon as they can be sexed. Some guys give off the impression that a female plant being pollinated is one of the worst things that can happen. But isn't it a lot better to produce your own seeds than to pay $70 for 10 seeds? Any info you can give is appreciated! cheers dudes bongsmilie

With a male that close to your ladies, you'll probably get more seeds than you've ever seen in one place. It would be a bad thing as far as yield and potency. I'd remove the males... but take a few male flowers which have opened and rub them on one or two branches on a female. This way, you'll only have one/two branches producing seeds.

you do want to make seeds .so you dont have to buy more..
the first male to show let him live so you can collect pollen..kill the other males
keep the male away from your girls..
collect the pollen ..some people apply it with small paint brush ,some use q tip
put female back let seeds mature
you can smoke the bud - the seeds
