ive selected 2 males, from a god bud and chemo,im going to cross each with blueberry and white rhino, what i want to know is if i leave the males in the veg room will they still get pollen if useing a 20/4 light period.or do they need the 12/12 flowering time to grow pollen.

It depends, since you have two known males, obviously you went into 12/12 to determine the sex, the males if put into the 20/4 veg cycle room will still be creating pollen until it reverts back to the growth cycle.

One easy suggestion is move the males out of the room until they are not creating pollen, or what I do, is once I have a known male that I want pollen from, I simply hack the male plant up and it continues to grow with the females, BUT, I only leave one node on top of the male plant, and I use Aluminum Tape and tape the male plant stem all the way up to the one node that I want to harvest pollen from, But I do not tape up the fan leaves, these must remain for the plant to photosynthesize)

I then take the one remaining node on the male plant, leave be the fan leaves so it can photosynthesize and make a pollen collection cup, I then take silk screen and seal the top of the collection cup so no loose pollen can cause any mayhem. Hacking the male plant causes stress to it, but it works, and a little pollen goes a long way..

My grow room is all boxed up, but I can dig out a pollen collection cup if you need a picture.

well i never had to put in flower too see the sex, they showed after 6 weeks in veg.but they are growing pollen sacs while in veg just not that many.i was thinking of chopping off the top and doing the cup method, but i thought i can just let then grow in the veg room and take the pods off when they come, hows that sound.thanks for the quick reply.
