Can I somehow pollinate my two clones outside the grow room and bring them back in without pollinating my others if so how. I read something a while back about spraying water after the pollination and putting back in the room. Help please

from what i have read, yes you can spray water after you pollinate i believe this kills the pollen that didnt take i also read that you can blow off the excess pollen after a few hours this is what i will be doing when my male critical mass matures any day now

I don't know where or when I read this (probably an old HT's magazine) but I've held to this for 10 years, there are really 2 ways to do what you are asking.

1. Take the plants out of the room for 3 days, pollinate on day 1, either naked or remove clothes prior to entering any other grow area (flowering) keep them under 12/12 and than on day 3 spray the hell out of them and the entire grow room to kill pollen. I would worry about spraying them too soon after pollination as Gogsyc is correct water kills the pollen.

2. You can use a fine paint brush to brush pollen onto the flower (this can be done in grow room) you do always run the risk of pollination other plants but if you turn the fans off and are careful you should be fine. To collect the pollen for this method I've read 2 ways, 1 brown bag over a male stem for like a day shake off all the pollen into bag, another method I've used is cutting a hole through a cup, placing a branch from male into the cup, stem goes through cup into a 2nd cup the has some ph'd water in it, and you let the pollen fall as it may. Bare in mind water kills pollen so you have to be careful doing it this way.
