breeding questions?

ok, I got seeds of TGA's ace of spades, I have a really nice female, and was thinking about planting anouther seed and hope for a male.

. i would breed, ace of spades (female) x ace of spades (male)

My question is, I kinda under stand that the seeds would not be the same as Parents,

ace of spades is : BLACK CHERRY SODA x Jack the ripper.

so I am wondering if some seeds would be MORE like JTR, and than some would be more like BLACK CHERRY SODA. but could the seeds be more like the Black cherry soda than the Ace of spades???

I just want to Have some seeds for Years down the road.

Just go do a Google Search for subcool breeding. That should answer all your questions

It depends how far he has gone on the ace of spades, if they are F1 offerings, and you cross a male and a female, they will become f2's. F2 generation usually shows a lot more variation, and you can see outcomes that look like neither of the original parent plants, or in the case grandparents.

Regardless, dont be scared to make some seeds, worst case scenario you have extra seeds, best case scenario is your F2's that you make turn out bomb.

I would cross Ace of spades with something like Vortex or Querkle... mmmmm nice


still, good luck on the f2's. worst thing that can happen is you make a watered down f2 since you really need a great male for breeding. but hundreds of free ace of spades f2's sounds sweet.

What would you consider a "great" male? If coming from elite genetics, your chances of finding a good male for f2's is highly increased.

i consider a great male, a plant that shows sex after most females (less hemp dominant) as well as good trichome production, smell is also a good way to judge males. Watch a male grow and see if it has good spacing on nodes, good or bad stretch (depending on what you want) or if it has mutations(beneficial or not) that way you can see what type of traits are passed on by a male. to really know, you have to outcross a male and see how it breeds with other strains.

I had a nice looking male, smelled great (made brownies from him)

I kinda like suprizes, i love growing bag seeds, is it going to be good , bad, tall, short, indca,sativa,,,, Than in the end i find out.

as when you buy seeds you know exactly what you are going to get.

I would recamend you all grow some ace of spades, she smells like no other weed i have smelled
