Are there any disadvantaged to bringing my plants inside at night? like pests or anything weird like that. Its getting kind of cold like 59-55 degrees here in socal so I was wondering If that would impact the plants. I have a bout 45 days left

im in the same boat. I just brought in my two tomatoes (ones a hearloom and the other ones orange tomatoes) I have a grow tent tho so they are getting nice light after today. I made sure to not have ANY pests before I brought them in. ill post a pic in a day or so.

disturbing the root mass is only downside I can think of..I don't mess with them outside by moving them around once in flower.

Speaking for myself, I wouldn't be particularly worried until night temps start getting into the low 40's, which I don't think will be a concern for another couple months.

ya 50's are fine.. no need to bring in, but there is advantage to it and thats the rippers not being able to get to it

You would be surprised what attempts people will go through to rip people off.
I live on a second floor and had some plants growing in window flower boxes.
Middle of the night I heard a thump against my wall near my windows.
Looking out I saw some A hole putting a ladder from the back of the a truck up to my window.
Perfect place to park too...as I pushed my window AC out.
Landed right on the hood of his truck. Took out the windshield too.
He called the cops on me...but he was one that went to jail. Cops actually were out in the parking lot laughing their asses off.

Where I live it gets pretty cold at night time this time of year, I have already had frost 3 times. What I have been doing is checking the weather online and sort it by the hour. I also look at the humidity. If it falls below 40 I put her in the shed and put 2 fans on her. If the humidity is above 70% I put her in the shed. I no she can handle lower temps but I don't wont to chance mold and bud rot. She had some type of mold on 1 cola already but I caught it in time.

yo im in socal high desert. we are hittin mid 40's over night. all good! As to bringing them in......I do that with my spring harvest(forcing a 12 sunlight and 12 dark room). And I reveg my spring girlies for fall by just leaving them out and force veg. We just dont want frost!

Must be nice but unfortunately where I live if it rains and the plants are damp or the humidity is high and the temps are in the cooler range 35-45 out grey mold start to form and first spike of temp, I'll go out and check my plant and 85% of the time there will be a cola with gray mold on it. That is why i put her in the shed at night with fans on her.

You should feel lucky Slash, my daytime highs have been in the 50's this week and rainy to boot, lol. If its just the temps you are worried about I would leave them out, it might bring out some colors for ya. GL
