Political prostitution is OK but regular prostitution isn't?

OK, got it...

They're paying her to lie. She spoke out against abstinence only after she got pregnant, saying it was unrealistic, then Single Source Speakers signs her on to speak about the exact same shit she publicly disagreed with before they showed her the $$$.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I'm with you guys, someone wants to throw a million dollars at the bitch, fine, who am I to say anything - What pisses me off is that she's doing it with the front of basing the decision off of her morality. She's lying to everyone, she's conning people and passing off information to people that isn't true and they believe it simply because of who she is, and who her mom is.

Exactly like when the Pope commented on the usage of condoms. This shit affects other peoples lives, and these assholes do it for the fuckin' paycheck.

Stay stupid America...

Just goes to show the problem in America..People would actually pay a person to speak about something that the person can't even do themselves...Would it not have been better to find a person who actually practice what they preach...

If she gets paid 30K for abstinence, well some fool IS getting fucked, but if it's their money, good for her.

after combing through both of the links provided and doing a bit of searching for myself, i still can't seem to find this abstinence only stance you're harping on. it seems you're once again stretching reality for the sake of your own agenda. is it so difficult to believe a teenage mother would honestly want to preach abstinence? i suppose you'd prefer she told the nation's teenagers to fuck their brains out, but use a condom.

I don't know what search engine you are using but Google and Bing both turned up the abstinence posts.
Every link on these sites I have gone to posts that Bristol will be speaking about pregnancy prevention, abstinence, faith and life.

speaking on abstinence is not the same as having an abstinence only stance. believing that abstinence is the best way to prevent unwanted pregnancy is not the same as claiming it is the only way. having faith is not the same as being a close minded fool. it would seem there is greater merit in admitting ones failures and teaching from that place than berating someone for trying to do just that.

Were I in her place my parents would FORBID me from taking such a contract and make me get a real job so that I felt the full consequence of my actions instead of copping out because mom's famous. Maybe my parents are just harsh, I dunno.

She's Getting 30K not because she is a good speaker, but because her last name is Palin. No one is going to go pay her 30K if her name was Johnson, who would come to the speech? The name Palin is sure to fill the house with paying customers.

Its not like her situation is rare or anything. I can probably throw a rock in any direction and hit a single unwed mother who has a child with a deadbeat father. Its almost the normal thing today.

I wonder if anybody has the sack to ask Bristol Palin, since she's an advocate for abstinence, if she can recommend some masturbatory techniques. It might be worth it just to get a rise out of the rest of the hypoctrites in the audience.

what are you, 12?

she'd probably answer it to the best of her ability.

or maybe everyone would just run away screaming.

She's not advocating hate speech, or doing anything illegal, or deriding the Constitution. Why should I care. If anything I'm glad she's making a living. If people want to pay to hear her speak more power to her.

I laugh when I think about the people who had sex with with public figures and go on book signings and press conferences. Those are the skeevey ones. I miss Stuttering John with his questions. "Will you be sleeping with anymore presidential candidates?"

So what if some powerful organization paid somebody millions of dollars to go around saying condoms don't work, education is bad for people, fast food is good, etc. is that OK?

I don't think those things will happen. If it did, so what? There is always another group who will counter those claims. People can educate themselves about issues fairly easily imo.

Exactly......... it's the same as the guy that bitches about how much athletes make while hes wearing a $40 licensed hat and waiting to get into a game w/ his $90 ticket.
Dont like that system, dont support it with your hard earned cash. If no one pays to hear her that gig will be over in a heartbeat.
