Broke my PH meter, how can I check my ph while the replacement is in the mail?

I accidently knocked it off a shelf and now the readings are all over the place. I have a replacement on the way which should be here by thurs but im screwed in the mean time. Any suggestions on a temp solution? Im about 3 weeks from harvest and it would suck to mess up at this point.

im pretty sure I have some PH strips left over from my pool will they work?

I let one bucket go un-ph'd between changes and had no problem, if it's not gonna be an extended amount of time before you get the probe there really shouldn't be a problem. depends on the nutrients I guess, some drop ph like a rock.

For clean fresh water with no ferts in it, you can use an aquarium pH kit. Once you add ferts to it, colors will be off. So, I don't know of anything for your situation unless u can borrow one.

yeah but they are the only shop in 2 hour radius and charge 3 times the prices you would pay online. They are kinda a last resort thing if I can help it.

Get yourself a GH drop kit. I never go without one. It's nowhere as close as a meter but can keep you right when needed.
