Broken branch

So without going into detail about a somewhat epic fail while trying to protect my outdoors from a monsoon last night, the end result was one broken lower branch. She was holding on by a thread with no possibility of repairing it (good thing I saw it, would have been a waste if it sat on the ground all night.) so I cut and trimmed. My question is should I do anything about the wound on the stalk? They only have about 2 weeks left so I don't think I'm in any danger of anything, but I've never encountered this so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The wound will heal all on it's own.But if the plants were still in the veg stage then i would at least try my hand at cloneing the broken section...................tyke
