BROKEN CFL Need Responce Quick

I was in grow room, and by accident I bumped into one of my suspended CFL's and it was enough force to break the CFL sprial, so What I did first was turn off all the lights, and I removed the plants.

I then proceded to clean up the broken CFL, I know that they contain Murcury, My question is.

Can Murcury harm cannabis plants? if so, then how long should I wait until I put my plants back into the growroom?

I just dont want to expose my plants to murcury, Idont know what that will do.

PLEASE RESPOND IF KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS, HOW LONG DOES MURCURY FROM A CFL STAY IN A 8x8 ROOM???

IF YOU BREAK A BULB...
1) Open a window before cleaning up, and turn off any forced-air heating or air conditioning.

2) Instead of sweeping or vacuuming, which can spread the mercury around, scoop up the glass fragments and powder. Use sticky tape to pick up remaining glass fragments or powder. Wipe the area clean with a damp paper towel or wet wipes.

3) Dispose of the broken bulb through your local household hazardous waste program or recycling program. If that service is unavailable in your area, place all clean-up materials in a trash container outside the building.

4) Wash your hands after cleaning up.

5) If vacuuming is needed afterwards, when all visible materials have been removed, vacuum the area and dispose of the vacuum bag in a sealed plastic bag. For the next few times you vacuum, turn off any forced-air heating or air conditioning and open a window before doing so.

Thanks for the reply, but do you know if the mercury from a CFL can harm a cannabis plant?

man that sucks, if it was me i would make damn sure none of the mercury got into the soil. Maybe mist the shit out of the plant to make sure all dust and contaminants were washed off, then take the top inch of soil off and dispose of it. I would think mercury would work its way down into the soil and be absorbed by the roots. Just my thoughts, don't take them too seriously.
