broken roots

alright im pisseed. i was transplanting my plant and i wasent thinking and instead of digging up the roots i pulled the main stem. and i heard a snap. i broke off the damn roots. theres still a little bit left. is my plant gonna die? or did i cause shock. any advice on what i should do would be great

definitely caused shock to the plant. will not grow and will wilt for a few days but it will snap out of and continue to grow. need sum clonex or something for quick root regrowth

i got two plants going and i did the same thing to both. the seeds were from really shitty bud n i hope the end result is better than the bud it came from

Sorry to say but the real answer is it will grow but will be stunted badly, It will never recover and will kinda just stay real small. Sorrry. You cant even do that to a seedling it will never recover if the roots tear. My advice is to apply a rooting gel and maybe that would work, you need new roots because the old ones will never recover.

well my one plant that had the same prolbem is doing just fine there was still some roots left just not a whole lot

Yes if it ends up being female..having major stress like that can cause it to go male. It should survive if you still have some roots but its going to need a lot of TLC. You need lots of light for bud and good nutes! I don't think you are suppose to nute for awhile after doing something like that one of the more experienced growers might be able to answer that though.

dammit man i snaped 3 seedlings roots and been wondering why the first few days they were growing great then a few leafs got completly dried and they just didnt grow any taller will try again and b very careful this time
