Now then.

Just a quick question, when the bud leaves start to die on a plant, does that mean it's reaching it's life expectancy and ready to be pulled? Considering the plants is just over eright weeks into flowering?

Any suggestion greatly appreciated.

Peace.

No, no pics sorry. It's a friend of mine's plant, he said it happens sometimes with the particlar strain he's using. It just seemed a bit odd to me, but completely plausible. Just wanted to see what everyone else thought about this?

There's 100% no insect. I think the plants just reached it's natural maturity and ready to die. It's just the tricromes havnt caught up yet.

hmm, it could be but i doubt it. If the tricromes still arnt fully mature, then i doubt the plant is dying from being "old". sounds like a deficiancy, or a ph problem. Check those, also, do the roots have room to spread?

Hey boistlyboist -

Check out my photos of Trixie and Bessie in my grow journal. I am having leaf die-off while the plant is maturing (it's been going on for about 2 weeks?) and the rest of the plant, including buds, continue to grow and mature. I was nervous too, but it seems that it's all good and just part of the process. Look at the photos and see if that's what you are seeing on your buddy's plant.

Good luck!

The plants do look very alike. Mine and my friends plants are on near enough the exact same day of flowering. Both on the last two weeks and we've both noticed just how much they start to fatten up in there last ditch effort to reproduce. I'd hate to have cut early. You can nearly double your weight in the last week or two.
