brown spots on the edges of my leaves

I had the EXACT same problem for the first time ever with dinafems amnesia in ff ocean forest. I just kept on trottin along until it stopped, mine started around a week in and lasted about a week. You'll probably notice a stunt in growth, but just regularly water, waiting for medium to completely dry imbetween, and wait, it'll go away soon, once it does shortly after nutrients are ready to be used.

I personally thought it was nutrient burn. Thats what it looked like, even though people swear it doesnt happen with fox farms, i stuck to my gut and treated it almost like a miracle gro burning, i waited right to the last minute to water, and after about a week or so, the burning stopped getting worse, and no new foliage was developing it. Then another few days after that i started using nutrients.

Nutrient Burn

Depending on your soil, just because you didn't add nutrients does not mean that there were not nutrients already in your mix, if you bought one with pre-mixed organic compost it is still possible to have nutrient issues, but usually once the plant grows enough these sort themselves out, it is more common in seedlings and plants less than a month old.

I would say its most likely a calcium deficiency and in one of the pictures it looks like the leaf has a white patch, that happens with PH fluctuations or a PH not within optimal range 6.0-7, do you have a soil PH meter? You can buy them cheaply or you can get a digital one that measures the run off of your water each time you feed them.

I think i messed up and sent half my message. what i wanted to thank you for is that my drainage water was at 5.7 for all 8 plants! plus i used micacle grow perlite witch had ammoniumcal nitrogen in it. all of witch lowered my ph levels in soil. i use fox farm nutes and always made sure the ph was at 6.5. i was blown away when i found my soil ph to be soo low. You gave me a major blessing telling me and stressing the importance of good ph level going out, i was soo stupid all this time. Now my grows should be great! thanx again!
