Your healthiest definately sounds like a ph problem especially since you haven't added nutes, so I would wait til you get your ph kit test it adjust and then add nutes after you get that fixed or else the nutes won't do anything cause you can lock nutrients out of your plant if your ph isn't right.
Ok kool thanks man so...we wait.

Well Im down to 2 plants now:roll:

did the tip of the root come up out of the sponge as well? It sounds like the root isnt going down into the sponge. try using a knife or something to make a hole from the top of the sponge down about half way. That will give the root a hole to go down instead of trying to dig its own.

yea the roots came out too.

so how exactly would I cut the hole. do I split the sponge?

I know i am late. But yes, you need to cut a whole down the middle and split it like a banana. Thats what i did.

I guess be very gentle with the seedling and place it kinda like 20 percent of the way down. If that makes sense.

Also use you're own minds healing power and pray to it!

I skipped work last night just checking on them every 20mins. Praying like I never prayed b4.

That's what I'd do. Cash out the weak light and go for the good light. Get your plants out of 'jail'. Let'em grow. Give'em space. As for the posts above- white walls are fine. Mylar ... never been a fan of mylar. Why? Well when I was buying my first drum set I wanted one that reflected light. So told the sales rep what I wanted; crome or something. He said "You'd be better of with white". That made no sense to me and he saw that on my face and replied "White refelects the color that thrown at it in a full way. Chrome, like a mirror is gray/silver and does not cast away all the light. White drums become the color they're hit with. Chrome stays the same color over all. They only produce hotspots". And he was right.
I've had better results with white rooms than my friends with mylar. Better for bug control too.
Lights: Long ago I started useing florecent tubes. They always did better than the bigger/hotter bulbs. I hung them through out my gardens. Vertically- not horizontinally. My plants had all the light they needed from begining to end. When they get big you may want to lay a tube or two on the floor and use your HPS on the roof for better harvest.

As for me- I'm switching to Aeroponics for many reasons.

For soil growers... the best soil I ever found and subsiquiently used for the rest of my life was soil taken from dormant ant hills. Here, out west, theses ant hills get big! Remove the top and dig below ground level. Heat ALL the dirt to at least 190 degrees. Let it cool. Plant. Wait a week or so and then add your fav fert.
My plants were all so healthy! All other soils sucked.

Anyhow. Aero is easier than soil and produce crops quicker. So.... I'm game.
THX for the op to share!.

The seedlings have not turned brown yet so Im holding out hope that they will survive the suicide attempts. I really dont know if the roots are taking hold or not. At this point Im just praying to the Ganja Gods that they grant me & my babies mercy.

Ok I finally got the correct Ph test kit (5.0-9.0)

My PH has been @ 8.0!!! oops:oops:. I have some PH Down but the instructions dont really help and I couldn't Find an answer on here.

QUESTION - How much PH DOWN do I use to get me down to 5.7?

That's just it there, there is no directions cause there is no exact, it's trial error remember use small amounts and i'm talking in drops, se one drop at a time, test ph after every test, if you got the liquid ph test kit you want the color to be a iced tea color for the ph range you want.

I used an aquarium test kit and it said that two drops per gallon will lower the pH one point

Here are some pics for ya'll they are in order from left to right. The left plant is my runt that I am not sure ever started to grow. The middle plant was the 1st to attempt suicide and it doesnt look too good. the right plant was my best performer that was 2nd to commit suicide but now it seems like the leaves have spread out a lil bit (maybe just wishful thinking)

About how long should i let it go before I decide that they are just dead? will they turn brown being sooo tiny?

I would just start over man, and do it right from the get-go. First grows are usually a learning curve anyways. At 7 days old your plant should be WAY bigger. Great thing about weed, you can always try again.
