Ok. So i just built a bubble cloner and it looks like its working. Ive been doing some research and some folks say to put it on a timer. 30min on and 60min off. then some folks say to leave it on 24/7. then some folks say to leave the stems submerged. then some folks say to place the stems a 1/4 inch or so above the water line. im confused and am wondering what the experts say. or anyone with bubble cloner experience what have you done and what were your results??? thanks.

well since no one wanted to say anything i built another bubble cloner and am doing an experiment to see which one clones better and or faster. so if anyone wants to know subscribe to this thread and ill post the results in a week or so.... the first bubble cloner will be on a timer 30min on and 60 min off. the second bubble cloner will be on 24/7. in both cloners i will have some stems submerged and some a 1/4inch or so out of the water... results to come.

Hello: If by bubble cloner you mean it runs using a pump and air stone and water to grow your plant in. You will want to run the air stone 24\7. If your using a system that sprays the solution onto the roots then 30 minutes on 60 off should work ok. Just keep an eye on the plants, if you notice they are wilting or not looking good inbetween waterings then step it up.
How the plants looks will tell if the plant is stressed or doing good.
It all depends on how intense the lighting is.....plant growing characteristics etc.

well after my experiment. it seems as though its better to have the bubble cloner on 24/7 with about 1/4" of the stem in the water. I got some nice looking roots in 7 days. im letting them go a little bit longer in the cloner so the roots will get nice and long. also as i kept the temperature in the closet in the high 70's and low 80's they seemed to do better than when the temps were in the low 70's. i hope this helps future people seeking the same info....

This totally helps. Glad I found this searching. do you still need to use rooting gel with a bubble cloner?? I would think not but I dont want to screw it up.
