my harvest and dry perfectly coincide with the arctic blast ripping through the plains next week. It cgoing to reach -35f at its coldest during the night. I’m thinking about making bubble in my garage. Will probably be around -25 in there when I’ll be making it. Is this too cold ? Will the cold water just freeze into solid ice once it touches the ice I’m my bags lol? Ill do a test without the material first to be sure, just curious if anyone has any experience with temps this cold or maybe any funny stories of freezing a pound in a giant block of ice ?

Gonna hash some HerzOG.

I would get a heater for that garage. 16126231989051454287303181765379.jpg(these are only $30-35) Then work away from the heater. What I would really worry about is the hose freezing. That's why I'm not out working on some hash right now. Cold is great! But not having a hose to work the hash in the bags puts a stop on the whole operation for me.
I'm thinking about running a hose out of the basement to the garage so I can get some more work done.

And you yourself will be in the cold as well.
Ohhhh yeah! Going out to get a heater mat for my son's gecko terrarium. It is in the low 60s in his room now... The furnace can't keep up.. I'm about to turn on all of my metal halides just for the added heat.. Illinois is FROZEN!
Lately I've been running bubble out in the hoop house. Not this weekend though. Oh so cold.

I have heaters. I guess I was just wondering what’s the lowest that you guys have made bubble in. Gonna test it out tonight, should be in The negatives tonight

I did it recently worked great barely any of the ice melted, although I am not exactly sure what the temp was at.
I don't use very much ice at all. Especially when it's already cold out. I use a washer and let its action and the cold water knock the trichomes off. It is definitely nice having Mother Nature take care of keeping everything cold and free flowing. Having a machine doing the stirring is a big plus too. I hated stirring by hand and a drill or mixer on low was, in my opinion, just too harsh.

The stuff I have run is just too sticky if not kept really cold. It starts to gum up quickly at room temperature. So working out in the hoop house has made sense, until now. I however don't want to freeze myself in the process, so for the next few days things might be on hold. .
