Bubblegummer & C-99 Hybrid | Rubbermaid Grow

hey guys,

moving into a new place in a couple of months that will finally permit me to try my hand at growing again for the first time in a year. my first time around it came out shitty, and this time around i am determined to correct the mistakes i know i made the first time. they were many and obvious looking back. any how, i won't be starting my grow until around may-june but for now i just want to air some thoughts and plans out ahead of time so when i execute it goes smooth as a baby's ass.

i'm thinking of stacking two 2-3 foot tall opaque rubber maids and doing a stealth grow for 2-3 girls at a time. i'll upload a first draft of a diagram in a couple of days or so. as of now it is gonna have all of the usual aspects of a rubber maid grow. carbon filter for smell, CFL lights (thinking of using around 300 watts) and passive intakes. basically it is gonna be what the grow i did the first time should have been. this time around i will have the money to spend on obtaining quality accessories to make this go smoothly.

my main concern that i really want to make sure i have hammered out ahead of time is the nutrient regimen that i will be running on the plants. as the title of the thread says, i'm going to be growing Bubblegummer and C99 Hybrid female seeds from attitude seeds.

stay posted, stay high my friends. :joint::joint::joint:

here is the fan i plan on tentatively purchasing for the grow:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050C2SZI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=A1TQQ4ZHI2444B

--------------

here is the filter i plan on also tentatively purchasing with it:

http://www.amazon.com/LED-wholesalers-Hydroponic-Scrubber-GYO2305/dp/B005HT0GZ8/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_b

i'm going to try and keep the budget for this grow below $200 excluding nutes and soil but if i need to spend more for optimal outcome i'll be willing to do so.

any comments or suggestions highly appreciated! especially regarding recommendations regarding nutrients and nutrient regimens.

Hey dude. That fan size is fine but over priced! Shop around. Unless that's USA prices. :/
In UK get 5" RUCK fan AND filter kit with ducting fr £85.

thanks for the advice, i was thinking that it seemed a little expensive myself... i'm going to try and find a combo like you said you did, from what i can tell that will be cheaper.

this combo kit looks way better than what i posted above and purchasing the parts separately. if this one is actually quieter that would help too because i want it as quiet as reasonably possible.

so far, my total online in the shopping cart for the following items comes to about $215 without shipping.

-foxfarm ocean forest soil
-foxfarm nutrients
-humidity monitor (i have temp already)
-digital soil pH meter
-ducting
-fan and filter combo

That combo kit looks good to me! I would go for that. You don't have much to cool down with CFL's.
yea on my first grow i struggled the entire grow trying to make PC fans work and it just doesn't happen with a good filter. i'm doing it right this time :weed:

hey guys, i was just thinking and do i need to buy a fan speed controller for the vortex/inline fan i plan on purchasing? it may sound like a dumb question, but i've read numerous other threads where others discuss purchasing a speed controller with it. i would rather know ahead of time that i need to place the order with the controller than find out that a second after-the-fact purchase needs to be made. this is the fan i plan on buying:

+rep for answers. i really want this next grow to run as smooth as possible:joint::joint::joint:

EDIT: thinking of maybe ordering the following fan instead for noise reasons. some noise is okay, but i will need ensure a secure degree of stealth. not sure what i should quite do yet as i still have a couple of months to make the purchases but do you guys think the extra money for a quieter fan and separate carbon filter would be worth it?
