bubbleponics and automatic feeding

I want to start growing this summer. A number of issues have come to my attention which I can not easily find previously posted, or is above my current understandings of how they work. That being said, this is one of my first posts, going to be first grow... and I want to do bubbleponics. For those of you holding your breathe and gasping for air claiming I must do soil, please hear me out... When I do things I do them to near perfection according to my standards. Growing is nothing more than precise timing, nutrition, keeping everything clean and the air moving. I believe in purchasing the best lights or near them. I am going to be living in a house with guys this next year (no I do not plan on telling them, and keeping this operation very discreet especially if we have an attic). I am living with my friends too, so if they did find out I would quickly finish my grow and be done with it... I want no one to know though if everything goes according to plan. However we have this house for rent starting in june, and I will be living somewhere else this summer. I want to get an automatic feeding system down, so I could germinate 3-4 seeds, bring them to this house in a closet grow... get them set up in a bubbleponic system and let them grow for a week-2 weeks until I come back and check on them... Now I want to hear every bit of constructive criticism I can get, but I also want to be told honestly if such a feat is feasible. I will be returning to live at this house full time a little bit before September. I will have to stop growing around January-February, so I think with a bubbleponic system I could get 2 harvests in before that time is up?

question 1) I am debating a switchable MH/HPS 400W. But the problem is if I want 2 full harvests should I buy two separate lights? a 400W MH for veg then a 600W HPS for flowering, the thing is I do not yet know what kind of space I will be working with, I won't know until I choose my room in the beginning of June... say realistically I have a 3Wx5Lx10H area.

question 2) how much are we looking at for cost? If i get two separate lights I would most likely need two separate closets and a bubbleponic system for each, but either way what would the cost be?

question 3) automatic feeding? what do I need to know, where can I look, who has tried it? - is 1-2 weeks too long to spend between visits?

question 4) how do I set up cheap ventilation? carbon filters work the best, but how do I set that up in a closet without fucking up a rented house? is growing 3-4 or 7-8 if I get two rooms do-able without any substantial smell?

Lastly, I totally support what you guys are doing and helping create. I don't think it should be against the law to grow marijuana and it starts with knowledgeable people who know what they are talking about to inform the majority of society that is so ignorant about marijuana. I have read countless posts from people on this forum, and for the most part I think this is a highly intelligent group of people, not just a stereotypical dumb pothead forum. that being said... thanks for letting me be part of this community

Hey. good man taking a step back and thinking about the grow before just jumping into it.

Very good idea keep it from your friends bc in todays day and age when kids get upset they'll run their mouth.

1st off i would like to recommend that growing in a house that you rent might not be the smartest idea. your landlord could come and notice 1 little thing and your screwed.

2ndly if you timed everything right and everything goes to plan you might... might beable to get 2 harvest. seeing as this will be your 1st grow is the only reason i say that.

i personally think that people get wayyyy to into with switchable lights and mh for veging. I dont use mh what so ever for anything, they have high output sunlight systems out now that perform better then mh's what is it is 6-8 ho fl tubes built into a reflector. they give off more and better light them your stand mh. so what i suggest which will also save you money is get an an 6 tube high output sunlight system for very and a 600 hps for flower. dont even mess with mh.

cost -
DWC system is the cheapest way to go so ill break down the cost for you.

if you are just doing 3-4 plants i would say get the following

4 - 5 gal buckets - 20$
1- quad output aipump 15$
4 - air stones 2-%
1 - bag hydroballs 8$
2 - rolls of black duck tape 6 $
4 - 3 inch netpods 2 $
1 - roll of mylar 15$
1 - small fan 10-25 $
HVAC vent hosing depends on length
3 spray bottles 3 $
b1 folier 25 $
b1 nute 15-1-3 30$
veg nute - 26-8-3 30$
flower nute 2-36-42 30$
some type of deodorizer 10 $

::Lights::

1 - 6 tube highoutput sunlight system 250$
1 - 400 watt hps 250-400$

Cant really help you with automatic feeding. i do all the feeding and everything myself and would recommend it it gives you better control.

your hps is gonna get how so your gonna need an intake and a exhaust. all good reflectors comes with an inlet and outlet already built onto the structure.

let me knwo if i missed anything and ill be glad to help

i understand the whole deal with the landlord being able to see this... but the deal is they have to give us a 24 hours notice before they come in... especially in my room or the attic they would have no reason to come in. Also if my roomates do not know about it i think it would be very hard for the landlord to find out... its a risk i am willing to take i guess. I know i would be smart about it.

I have read about those high florescent output systems... I guess ive heard different reviews about everything. Could you provide me with a direct link to the system that is ideal along with the bulbs that should be best? Along with the HPS system would be great, I know i need a reflector so i can build in ventilation directly to the light so a link to one that has worked great for someone would also be greatly appreciated. The problem I have is how do i get fresh clean air in a closet without drilling holes in the wall or to the exterior of a house? If i keep a fan going in a mid size closet without the doors open i think it will get too hot in a house with no air conditioning where it prolly reaches 90 degrees alone some times during summer... What do you think about the possibility of sticking a little air conditioner with some homemade ventilation system around it in the closet lol?

Yea i guess its grow at your own risk :D

Here is a link to a similar sunlight system i have Tek Light T5 Fluorescent Grow Light 4ft 6 Bulb 324W. mind i have 2

Here is a link to your stanard 400w hps grow light Buy 430W Son Agro HPS Plant Grow Light with Super Sun 2 Reflector HERE!

with getting fresh air into your room. i have a window? is so run a hvac hosing for an intake and and exhaust have a fn crank air threw the intake and crank it out the exhaust with another fan. if u can be pulling cool air in from the outside you should beable to maintain a good temp
