bubbleponics mother bucket question.

So I am putting together two bucket systems I am going to use for mothers. I was going to supplement the air stone with a top feed drip ring. The question is... Once the roots hit the bubbling water in the reservoir, do I need to keep the top feed set up in there as well? Do you put the top feed on a timer to only water a few times a day or what do you usually do?

Thanks in advance.

once you hit deep water you dont need the tube or in your case the drip. just wait till you have a reasonable amount of root in the water any roots not in the water when you turn off the drip will be eagerly stretching down for what it want. once roots hit deep water they generally start growing faster (least they did with my setup. anyway hope this helped good luck

Thanks, I kinda figured, but I wanted to make sure. I just dont want to have to buy pump after pump for a few mothers. I can spread them out. and collect them.
