Bubbler Garden Nute Question

Fairly new to the process of growing. I have a bubbler system with a 1.5 gal reservoir and am using Ultragrow three part nute system. Question is this:

I mix the nutes in 1 gal jugs of water according to directions and fill the reservoir (this is at appropriate time to start nutes (two week roughly), not when starting seed. seed gets straight water only). When my water starts to get low do I add more nutrient mixed water to it or add regular water and then change the water every two weeks and start fresh with nutes? Thanks

Depends on what you want the PPM to be. You'll need a PPM meter as well as a PH meter. If you can spend the money get something like this:

I have a decent ph meter and am getting a ppm meter here very soon. What should ppm be for something like this?
