Long time friend of Warren's aunt, so I get into the shows for free. He was a contract player for The Almond Bro. Band, when the Stones came to the US for the tour he played for them, and his band The Mule is just great. I miss Woody though, great bass player and person.
Love his covers also, but he is such a prolific writer I love his originals also.
Streamline Woman could have been written for my GF. Thorazine Shuffle will get you moving.
Saw the live show where Steve Marriott came on stage and joined the Mule on 30 days in the Hole. That was the one they used on the album.
Went to Warren and Stefina's wedding reception, so many music folks there.
Met Derrick Trucks and Susan Tedeschi a few yrs ago when the Mule shared a gig with the Tedeschi/Trucks Band.
