Bud Blood Experiences

well.. years of being on the market and the fact that is backed by well established horticulture science and has generated millions of dollars in sales means something is working. The fact that you don't know enough about it to even know HOW it's used with out killing your plants is further proof of your lack of qualifications to even speak about it with any authority at all. You should spare yourself of further embarrassment and just zip it.

If anyone would like to know how to use bud blood, or anything like it, correctly just ask and I'll lay it out. It's amazingly easy and it a good alternative to PGR's that are not healthy for you or the people consuming your plants.

Yeah, and a thousand flies on a pile of shit can't be wrong.

and the fact that is backed by well established horticulture science
What "well established horticulture science" are you referring to? A few kids' anecdotal evidence or an AN ad?

I gave you the science on what happens if you use such a ratio exclusively but as usual, you being the sucker you are for snake oils and smooth talkin' shysters choose to ignore it. For example, it's a well known fact, or it's well known to me, that high P levels induce stretch and micro deficiencies. Ultra low N levels during flowering induces leaf necrosis resulting in less production. Simple sciency. Every other whine in the Plant Problems forum is from folks experiencing yellowing leaves and losing them.

and has generated millions of dollars in sales means something is working.
Damn straight, but not for the right reasons. No question about it, AN are marketing genius's. They understand their market (prey on the ignorant) and know how to hype it up.

Your "millions of dollars" is pure conjecture. I doubt if AN has 1% of market share regarding all fertilizer and supplemental products that are available, and there are thousands.

The fact that you don't know enough about it to even know HOW it's used with out killing your plants is further proof of your lack of qualifications to even speak about it with any authority at all. You should spare yourself of further embarrassment and just zip it.
Me embarrassed? I'm not the fool.

Thanks for the sales ad produced by AN. :wall:

Another ditty from "well established horticultural science", eh? This is hilarious!

I've gotta put in my 2 cents. Been growing hydro only a year. First grow, bought into what the boards were saying, spent money on shit that made matters worse. Second grow, came across Uncle Ben's approach, tried to blend his philosophy with board consensus, still had tons of problems. Next grow, I did one reservoir as board consensus, one reservoir as UBs advice. Hands down, better results with UB. Now, I keep it as simple as possible. Use Dyna-gro, best my plants have done. I have hundreds of dollars worth of half used bottles that did nothing but provide me problems, wasted my time and poorly effected yield. My cheap ass DG has proven to be effective and hassle free. I can leave my hydro grow alone for 1-2 weeks and my girls don't have issues. Buying into "snake oil," as UB calls it, I had issues every few days.

So while you may not agree with his methods, I've experimented and found his way is most fruitful. What I don't understand is why everyone has to get so bitchy and personal. So you don't agree. Get over it. If you like your way, great if it's producing.

Bottom line is that you can't reinvent the wheel, plant botany is plant botany. I've seen UB attacked for pointing this out time and time again.

It's a fucking weed, it knows how to grow.

Edude, your a complete fool.

Your arguing with one of the best growers the cannabis world has known because he sticks with botany and not bullshit forum paradigms that have you by the balls.

He's been cited in the growers bible for helping out on it and has been posting on these forums probably for longer than you've been growing, actually very likely, because if you were growing very long, you "should have" learned something besides hype and bs marketing
Whatever.. lol

So, tell us about what ben is cited for and how you followed that advice.. how did that work out for you? LOL

I can't explain why people give bad advice or why people take it as gospel.

When you live around a lot of growers and personally know a lot of growers (not on the web) then you compete with them. Weed is like beer in these parts. At the party you and everyone else's bud is being judged. This is a great thing. If I didn't see what others can do. Taste what a strain can taste like then I would have never know'n how good it can be. You're more then welcome to be happy. I'm not saying you're not. But, I'm telling you you're only seeing the tip of the iceberg. For however good you think it is, it's potentially much better. Yes, there is hype and BS products out there. But there are some that work really well and it just plain chemistry and science.

Put it this way.. if you'd never been in a car, a 62' VW would seem fast a fuck and you wouldn't dream of being able to go any faster..

Bonzi treated male that was destroyed today. Peak 19 backcross, very Colombian phenotype. 4 cola trained. 4 month + veg, just showing sex. Only fertilizer used was a slow release, 12 month, 18-5-8 at time of potting. Healthy and green with very little leaf loss with a profuse fibrous root system.

I've used hyped up nutes and they were a headache and adversely effected my yield, wasting money and time. Could I grow better? Sure, I aim to with each new round. There's always room for improvement. I think technique and timing are important, as long as my nutes are balanced and not providing issues that need constant correction. I grow hydro, you're in soil. Balance of nutes is essential to me, while soil is more forgiving. If I were in soil, I'd be using all organic. Hope to accomplish that shortly in hydro.

I've had the Corvette, got me lots of tickets, cost me a lot in fines. Tortoise and the hare. Slow and steady wins the race.

Like I said before, if it works for you, great. There's just no reason to get so bitchy with those who do things differently. Think people forget that different climates, different growing areas call for different things. I'm amazed at how often the boards get so ugly. You'd think with a bunch of people smoking they would be more inclined to mellow the fuck out. Enjoy some of your good shit, then post in peaceful harmony.

Yeah, I'm in soil but I've done plenty of hydro, with dyna grow as well. I prefer Supernatural nutes and it's only cause I'm so lazy.

This thread is about Bud Blood. I happen to know a lot about Bud Blood and the blood line of products from a few different makers.. like Gro Tek and Rambridge, the idea behind it, how it's applied, what it does and why. I offer info backed by plant science and whole lot of experience. Do with it what you like. Some people here have a chip on their shoulder about AN products and troll the threads. That will never change.

I'm sure someone someplace has done this. There are the crazy Asian gang growers that use everything and the kitchen sink. They use like 5 bloom foods at the same time..

You CAN do it but it will not be cheap and I'm sure there would have to be some adjustments to the mix and your base nutrient. I haven't seen it but that doesn't mean it's not happening.

i was just seeing if alot of people on this site were doing it but i guess there not. hopefully using bud ignitor the first 2 weeks will cut down the stretch enough where i wont have to worry about adding bud blood somewhere.

From what I understand the two are interchangeable. Let us know how it works.

So you think popular means the right way? If I had a nickel for every piece of bad advise "someone said"....I'd be a rich man.

Recommend you and other noobs get off the hokey product names and hype and get schooled on plant nutrition. Contrary to what you've heard, using "bud ignitor" during the first 2 weeks, the middle, or the end has no bearing on what your yields will be. Yields are driven by horticultural experience and understanding that abundant and healthy foliage is what drives production, NOT your typical over priced, over hyped, cannabis specific crap products.

This is not what you call "product information". http://www.advancednutrients.com/hydroponics/products/bud_ignitor/bud_ignitor_product_information.php That is called a big batch of lies scripted for stupid people.

A fuckin' liter of watered down P and K for $82? Are you kidding me???????!!!!!!!!!!! How stupid can you get? http://www.greners.com/advanced-nutrients-bud-ignitor.html That will actually serve to DECREASE bud production as it won't support foliar mass and will induce micro deficiencies.

Sheesh!
